It's quite, but a small pair of Trans and Ace flags are sitting on her desk. She greets everyone with a weak smile but is more than happy to take your collected Tickets for what she has to offer. { } You knew it was a good haul when you struggled to carry it all, that was for sure. He wished, not for the first time in the past while, that he’d thought to bring his backpack with him. Well, he had thought of it, but then he’d thought, Why would I need a backpack at Pride? That’s silly! And yet. And yet.. He could feel Valia’s smug smile from beside him, could picture in his mind’s eye with perfect, irritating clarity the mocking way that she would be trotting along, burden-free, and making a show of it just to irk him. That bitch. Still, hard to be sour about something like that when you were laden down with goodies and a truly absurd amount of festival tickets. He clutched the egg as securely as he could while maintaining his hold on the various and sundry other prizes he’d received, and briefly wondered how he was planning on carrying the ones that he was about to receive. Then he shrugged. Worst case scenario he could buy a bag at the usual price-gouging rate you find at any event, so he wasn’t too worried. He carefully picked his way through the crowd and approached the ticket shop, gingerly setting the egg down atop the counter and flashing the Zoruark a warm smile- only to blink upon processing just who was running the shop. His lips curled further, the gesture developing into a full-blown, brilliant grin of delight as he lifted a hand in greeting, stating, ”Hello! It’s great to see you, actually - and not just because of the prizes.” With barely a pause, he knelt down and picked his Zorua up, setting her upon the counter and placing his fists upon his hips, beaming. ”This is Valia! She’s great, even though she’s in a bit of a mood lately, but maybe seeing you will cheer her up. Oh, I should tell you what I’d like, huh?”He produced the ribbons of tickets and placed them as neatly as one could, between the egg and the Zorua, who was looking curiously up at the Zoruark. ”One egg and one TM, if you please.”MADE BY VEL OF GS Turning in 75 tickets (50 for the event egg and 25 for the random TM), please!

--- Zoroark gave her typical, small and easy smile when the man entered the shop. This was the first person to drop by her little shop. She hoped he wouldn't be last, but eh festival had only just begun so she was sure that more people would be along the way. He seemed surprised that she was running the shop, most humans did if they had never been here before, so she couldn't help the soft puff of laughter that left her. At least he looked happy to see her, and he was very friendly so far. Zoroark gave a bit more of a toothy grin when she saw Valia. It wasn't often that other of her kind passed through, as rare as they all were, so it was always a pleasure to see them! Just for the occasion, Zoroark dug around behind her desk before offering the smaller pokemon one of the pokepuffs she had stashed for a snack. After giving Valia a small pat on the head, Zoroark picked up the tickets and gave them a careful once over. She nodded after her inspection was done, placing them in a little metal lock box before fishing out the selected prizes. A cd case was placed on the counter and slid over to Bronze, the name on the outside that showed what the Tm was having been blacked out. He would find out what he had won when he opened it since it was written on the disc. Zoroark then lifted an egg marked with a special tag and slid to him. The egg was in an incubator and came with all the things needed to take care of it till it hatched. < Happy Pride. > Zoroark muttered softly, another small smile on her face.

| Henry probably should have been surprised to find a pokemon running the ticket shop, but at the end of the day it didn't really matter who it was as long as Henry could exchange all the rumbled tickets at the bottom of the plastic bag for something useful. Making his way the stand, the silver haired man stilled, blue eyes reading the sign, assessing the prizes. Pokeballs could be useful, and there were tms he was looking to get his hands on to enhance his pokemon's routines.
The mystery egg didn't appeal to Henry much. Without knowing that if it was a bug, it would be exhausting to have to raise it, then turn around and sell it. The experience share was something that necessitated pondering. It could help the weaker members of his team get stronger, but at the same time Henry wanted to work with them individually rather than relying on a contraption to speed things up.
Maybe he was a bit unusual for having that thought process.
Shrugging a little bit to himself, Henry plopped all 75 of his tickets on the counter. "I'll get the strange stone, please."
Sure, the strange stone was a cryptic and more than a bit of a gamble, but Henry was willing to take the chance. It was pride, right? 219 @anymod cashing in those babies ! | |

--- Zoroark nodded to the silver haired human when he entered. He didn't say much, which was fine by her since she was bad at introductions anyway. He seemed deep in thought over his choice. She could understand that. Choices were limited the way that things were right now, after all, and he would need to make sure what he got was what he wanted. When he placed all the tickets on the counter and said what he wanted, Zoroark took the time to shuffle through the tickets and count before she pulled out what he wanted. She wasn't really sure what these stones were if she were being an honest. A strange man had brought them to her a few days before the festival and said they were rare and worth a lot. She had just figured they would make good prizes for the Festival since she had no idea what to do with them otherwise. Sliding a yellow, red and black stone across the table to Henry, Zoroark gave him a small smile and another nod. < Happy Pride. > She said, softly.

[attr="class","odele1"] kick it out EVERYBODY WANT THE KEY AND THE SECRET TO RAP IMMORTALITY LIKE I HAVE GOT WELL, TO BE TRUTHFUL THE BLUEPRINT'S SIMPLY RAGE AND YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCE EVERYBODY LOVES TO ROOT FOR A NUISANCE HIT THE EARTH LIKE AN ASTEROID, DID NOTHING BUT SHOOT FOR THE MOON SINCE
After finishing up at the Dunk Tank and finding himself very much alone, Kaleo walked away with his prizes in hand and his attention elsewhere. He’d gotten a pretty good haul, true, and he’d sort of had fun, he supposed... but maybe returning both of his Pokemon wasn’t the best idea. Sol might have stood back if he asked, and Hibi... ... in hindsight, given Hibi’s past experience, he was starting to have a feeling like returning him at THAT moment might not have gelled well. Half ready to clarify that he had no intention to return him to the lab for making smart marks, he’d found a less crowded corner away from the stands and released both of them again. Which... ended up being less dramatic than he’d anticipated. Sol scolded him for returning him, as a goddess fears no ocean essence, but Hibi had been quiet. When asked, he’d said he was fine; Kaleo wasn’t entirely sure why that made him nervous, but suggested the three of them get going nevertheless. He said it was fine after all, right? So, they did. For a moment, they stood off to the side like people sometimes do while reading the menu at fast food restaurants, when something... particular caught the human’s eye. “I want the rock.” {You want the rock.} Hibi piped up again to repeat after him, eyeing him like he’d just claimed he wanted to taste the sun. “I want the rock.” He repeated, confirming. {Why do you want the rock.}“Dunno? It seems lucky.” He shrugged. “’Sides, you can get eggs or TMs or whatever, like, everywhere. But I’ve never seen that rock before.”{Have you ever wondered there might be a reason why that is?} “Uhhh, ‘cause no one else has cool rocks like that?” He drooped a little bit. He supposed he COULD just get the EXP share or something, since it'd be a great deal cheaper here than it'd be in a store... but it didn't have quite the same intrigue the weird rock did. "I dunno, what do you want?"Hibi paused for a long moment, looking at the list. However, before he could really come out with anything, Sol had spoken up. {I, too, sense great arcane energies from the stones.} She'd said, wriggling her forelegs a bit in approval. {You have a keen eye, disciple. Obtain it.}Kaleo smirked, feeling renewed in his conviction towards the stone by her validation.... but, still, he'd asked. “Last call, dude."{You're both-- Oh my god, fine. Get the rock. I don’t care.} The fighting type turned away. Kaleo frowned a bit. He couldn’t have claimed to know the Meditite well enough to guess his motives quite yet, but... yeah, something was definitely not ‘fine’ here. Trying to solve whatever was wrong right here would be like trying to halt a toddler’s tantrum in the middle of the grocery store floor; no matter how it progressed, they'd both look like irrational assholes for causing a scene. No, this would have to be dealt with later. For the moment, he’d just approached the Zoroark at the stand. “...Uh, hi! Can I grab the weird rock?” He asked, gesturing to one of the strange stones. 538 Words ● --- ● we exchangin PHARAOH LEAP. --- Zoroark glanced up when the trio approached her stand and started to muster a sleepy hello when they stopped short and just stared at the exchange rates posted on her booth. Very well, they could take their time figuring out what they wanted. They had worked hard for those tickets, probably, and wanted to be smart about how they used them. Right away it seemed a fuss was being made, however, over the human wanting to put all their tickets on the line for the strange stones she had available. She remained quiet, allowing their conversation to play out. She tried not to intervene and let the customers work things out for themselves without any influence from her. At last a decision was made and she smiled, bleary eyed, up at the young man, holding her hand out for his tickets and once they were counted she selected one of the “weird rock”s from the box of wares behind her and placed it gently in his open palm < Happy pride. > she told him stifling a yawn and placing his bundle of hard-earned tickets into a bin under the counter, waving goodbye to the threesome. She hoped he was happy with his stone. It was pretty enough anyway.

With a pack full of prizes Akina headed to the ticket shop to spend the tickets she had earned. ”Seventy-three…seventy-four… seventy-five! Wow I won a lot.” She wondered what she could exchange them for at the ticket shop. Hopefully nothing too big. She was running out of room in her pack. The egg she had won took up most of the space in her pack.
Unlike the game booths the ticket shop was run by a pokemon. The Zoruark looked a little haggard. Kinda like how Akina and her parents looked on Christmas mornings when all her siblings insisted they start opening presents at four in the morning. Despite her tired looks she still greeted Akina with a small smile. Akina looked over the prizes and debated on what to get. She had gotten so many things already from the game booths. She was surprised to see she could get an egg here as well but didn’t think she had any more room in her pack for another.
One item did catch her eye however. The little sign in front of the item said ‘Strange Stone’, and it did indeed look like a strange stone. Akina had never seen anything like it before. Was it an evolution stone? Or perhaps a held item that improved a pokemon’s abilities. There was only one way to find out. ”Excuse me, I think I’ll have one of the strange stones please.” Akina handed over all her tickets for the odd little stone.

Press onkeep going until you can’t
Varland was pretty satisfied with what he'd won from the games. He had almost more eggs than he could carry now, and cradling them in his arms felt comforting somehow. He wasn't sure if he would be able to keep them all once they'd hatched, but regardless of what happened he would make sure the babies found a good home. This was something he'd learned to do and was surprisingly grateful to know now, all these years later. When he wasn't being forced to stay in one place to do this he found he didn't mind it at all. He'd always liked taking care of eggs and baby Pokemon, though perhaps that was just something that was in his blood. Once a breeder always a breeder, huh? He didn't particularly like the matchmaking part of it though, that was something his younger sister had always been better at. He just liked taking care of the youngsters until it was time for them to go home with their trainers.
He realized he'd been zoning out with his thoughts standing at the prize booth with his tickets in his hands, and he rubbed at the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry about that," he said to the Zoroark who was running the booth, "Hope I wasn't in the way too much." With that, he looked over the list of prizes. He wasn't sure what the 'strange stone' was, but it must have been something pretty nifty with how many tickets it cost. the Experience Share was probably the thing he would be able to get the most use out of, but that was something that you could generally buy on your own. Not that he could afford one now, but once he started getting properly paid for his new job he'd be able to pick one up at some point. The voucher for a day-care egg was probably the most enticing of the big prizes, but did he really need more eggs? ...That was a silly question, because he would have an entire team made of eggs if he could.
And then he spotted the row of event eggs that were lined up, just waiting for a home. The promise of the voucher was good, but the call of a physical egg sitting in front of him was far stronger than that of some slip of paper that promised an egg later. Plus, he could use his remaining tickets to pick up a Dusk Stone, since he knew someday Prima would need it to evolve. Well, he hadn't known, but he had done some research on Litwicks and Wimpods since he'd known next to nothing about them on the way here for the festival, and thankfully he'd learned at least a decent amount.
And here he was, getting distracted again. "I'm sorry!! I'll, uh, just take one of those eggs and a Dusk Stone, if that's okay! Then I'll get out of your hair and out of the way!" He handed over his tickets, again feeling a little embarrassed.

'i've got to break away' Minske was so tired from the sun and the dancing and keeping up with his Pokemon that he'd very nearly left the festival with his handful of items, new Pokemon, and tickets... which was fine, but really not what he'd been looking for. It had been a fun day, a fun festival, nonetheless. It was late, and the Zoroark that ran the ticket booth appeared to be packing up for the day. He almost just turned around, but he could imagine the disappointment on his Pokemon's faces when they came out of their balls later and he was empty-handed. "Um, I'm so sorry, but am I too late? I have all of the tickets, I'll go if it takes too much time." He was nothing if not a polite boy, and he wasn't going to cause a fuss if his idiocy was too inconvenient. The Zoroark looked like a kindly sort, though, so there was hope. Phanpy's ability is Pickup!Word Count; some words Tag; @mod Notes; If this doesn't count under the couple of days of amnesty, just disregard! I got all of the tickets and forgot to post here like a doop. If I'm not too late, I'd love the event egg and a random TM! |

--- Pride winding down was always a sad time for her. She enjoyed seeing people come in and out of her booth with tickets and leaving with prizes they earned. But at least that meant there was one last influx of people coming in to cash in before it was all completely over. She could appreciate that at least. The three people coming in all wanted different things. Not that she minded. She had less to pack up the more that people wanted after all. < See you all next year! > She said as she started to dole out the prizes.
