Hawlucha is presumably the last in a long line of valiant fighters. Hawlucha in his family tree have gone on to be champions in many different regions for many different trainers and gym leaders, excelling in various types of battles. Some are most skilled in one on one while others work well in groups. The one thing they all had in common was they went on to fulfill the destiny passed from generation to generation of being warriors, upholding their family legacy. A dynasty of fighting hawks with glorious jagged masks of their species, perfect examples of the classic chevron.

This Hawlucha, however, was born with a peculiar pattern unlike any other in his lineage. It made his parents hang their heads in shame at the soft, delicate lace-like frills their newborn had. They went to their trainers and the breeder who had brought them together and asked if there was any way to send it somewhere far away, never expecting the prissy looking thing to grow up to be of any worth when it came to battling. They didn't want him muddling their heritage. So he was brought to the lab with nothing but his papers declaring his pedigree and the ability to read and research his genealogy in the archives.

He never knew exactly why they'd sent him to the lab, but with the information he had to work with he assumed it was a test of strength, will, and perseverance to achieve his destiny in life. He's got a touch of tunnel vision and will often push himself to the point of exhaustion when training because he doesn't know the meaning of "enough". He carries himself with a certain regality, and is often found reciting obscure family members who have performed incredible feats of strength and bravery, knowing in his mind that that glory will one day be his. Along with physical training he has tried to hone his mind, knowing mental fortitude is just as important as anything else. He is good for distributing nuggets of wisdom or being a pillar of stoicism in chaos.

This sneaky little devil is flirtatious, vain, and pompous. She flaunts herself at anything and everything in sight, falling into a need and desire for whatever fancies her eye. Though flirtatious, she isn't possessive, and if her feelings are reciprocated she tends to get uninterested quickly. Every single Pokemon and trainer alive in no way compares to her. She doesn't like being belittled and will quickly retaliate. She enjoys having her ego stroked and being the very best she knows that she is.

Thing is, Dewpider comes from a long line of very noble Dewpiders. They were a sort of royalty and her family line has never forgotten this. Even this ever rude and snarky Dewpider holds a sort of snobby and regal stance, knowing she is the best of her species. Though, whether this is complete Bologna or not is totally up in the air. She certainly acts the role enough for it to seem legitimate and she'll argue until her death that she's right... and not just about her lineage.

Amarua was found as a small sail fossil not long ago. She was pulled form her fossil in the Inset region and kept under surveillance for a while in a biome. Once the researchers realized she was better off in the wild than with a trainer, she was given to local rangers and released into the wild. She found a group of Pokemon in a mountain top that became her 'friends.' These Pokemon became quickly annoyed with how paranoid and fearful the Amarua was of everything and played a cruel game of hide and seek, where they never came to find her. Luckily she was rescued by her trainer.

This ancient sail Pokemon has lost her entire family and nearly her entire race. She doesn't trust much of anything very easily, constantly cautious of the weather conditions and paranoid she will once again be taken out by something and will never again find whatever family she has gotten close to. Though timid and typically fearful of battle, she has a remarkable strength in her and she is a very strong opponent to be faced. With a bit of growth, her confidence will soar, and she will be her strong, confident, happy self from back in ancient times.

This young Cottonee, while trusting, can be a bit of a brat. Most of the time it's chalked up to being because she's tired, worn out because of her insomnia and never being able to get a good night's rest. She has her own charm and typically her tired outweighs her bratty and she's apologizing for her rude behavior. She doesn't realize she's being that way at first, usually having to reel back and collect herself. Because of this insomnia, she's well known for being found sleeping on her trainer or passing out while walking with her partner, sometimes coming out of her pokeball while sleeping. Bless.

Above all else, this Chingling believes that anything and everything belongs to him and gets really very peeved when others try and step into his domain and take his things. His possessive and greedy nature extends to all outlets of his personality and is not just limited to material things. To boot, he's a prick about it. He'll quickly point out whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and he also thinks he's Arceus' gift to the community around him. He is better and above whatever it is he's got his ropes around, constantly reminds others of this, and has a bad habit of needing a lot of pampering and spoiling to make him happy. Best of luck to the trainer who ended up manipulated by this small jerk into taking him along on their journey.
