[attr="class","rostercat2"]Hana is an annoying bright and optimistic person. Every situation, regardless of how bad it is, has to have a good side. She's dealt with a lot of negative in her life as a result of her parents and believes that no matter what happens to anybody they can make a positive thing happen if they really put their mind to it! It's nauseating, but at least she's cute about it. Where most would give up Hana's really not about it. She'll fight until she's blue in the face, she won't ever give up, and namely on her friends and pokemon. Herself? Well, Hana doesn't hold herself to a high standard. As a matter of fact, she tends to belittle herself very often. She knows she shouldn't and that she is just as important as she makes others out to be but it's a terrible habit she can't seem to break; her own violent spiral that she constantly has to pick herself up and out of. Hana depends on others to define herself, in a way, yet another flaw. But, she does not waver when she makes a true and honest friend. At times she is naive, but Hana is strong and stubborn. She is a bright burning sun that will lighten up anybody's cloudy mood or dark horizon. She makes a point to be a happy person even in the toughest of times just because she knows that these days, there isn't enough good in the world. Though she's learned from her youth not to take people at their word - or to trust anyone and everyone - she does give them the benefit of the doubt. Again, naive. But she isn't stupid enough to walk off with a total stranger and trust them one hundred percent. As a matter of fact, it's a true feat to get her heart. While she'll allow her surface to be friends with others at the drop of a hat, Hana guards herself internally and is really very picky about who she lets into her life permanently. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"]A member of team Magma and team Aqua met once upon a time back in Hoenn. The two met outside of their factions, fell in love, and gave up their factions to be with one another. These two, were her parents. Once happy with one another, they moved to a neutral ground and her father became a fisherman in the sea town of Pacifidlog. Once there her mother settled into her true passion and helped in raising her. But all happiness comes to an end. When Hana was just five years old Pacifidlog was hit by a dangerous and horrible hurricane. Her parents were both lost to the ocean, never to be seen by her again. She was taken then to live with her mother's brother. He was aware of her parent's connections to the factions, rumors having spread around quick enough in the family. Needless to say he didn't approve of her, nor really attach to her. But she tried to make the best of it. He was an honest man and he liked him. He worked in the Mauville power plant. He was stable enough to afford her, sent her to schools in the area, and she learned the love for Pokemon from him despite his coarse and brooding exterior. At age nine she took a deep interest in contests and put her heart and soul into them. She could feel her father through the pressure in the performance and feel her mother in the elegance of the moves. Each and every contest helped her feel closer to her parents. When she turned twelve, she said goodbye to her uncle and head out on her own. As a gift, and perhaps because of her infectious nature, he gifted to Hana her very first pokemon. With it started her journey in traveling around all the regions she could to compete in contests. She started in Hoenn, training her pokemon specifically for contests. However, she did enter in the occasional battle. One day she met a trainer with no love or care for his pokemon at all. No part of her understood how he could use them as tools to simply win and gratify his own lust for battle. Annoyed by her plucky presence, he challenged her to a battle. When she refused, he ordered his pokemon to attack her outright, and out of care for her, her pokemon tried to defend her. Being contest pokemon, he easily won the battle, but that wasn't enough for him. He continued to try and show her a lesson, on how true power was found through battling and she'd best learn to take care of herself or her pokemon could end up paying the price for her own negligence. Luckily, before he could damage her or her pokemon beyond repair, a passerby came and helped her. Feeling outnumbered, the boy left her and the new passerby helped her back on her feet. From that moment forward she swore she wouldn't be bullied, and namely, she swore she wouldn't be so weak that her pokemon paid the price. A new fire was lit, one for power in a sense, mostly in battle as apposed to contests. From region to region she battled, finishing new and interesting things out about herself and her pokemon. It's lead her to be more of a defender of sorts, seeking out what ways she can help others like herself so there is a little less of the cruelty of other's own negligence in the world. This and many other adventures - some just as dark and others far more bright - has brought her to this new and exciting region, where she hopes to get a fresh start with new friends in a new place and hopefully make her parents proud.
