soft opening

we're back and better than ever! <3inari, fitz and myself have been working the last week or so to get this place back into working order! welcome welcome everyone new and old to Reach for the Stars!
right now we're in a soft opening! that means that we would prefer to grow only by word of mouth or very limited advertising. if you have friends you think might like the place feel free to suggest it! we're open for character making and posting like we were before!
if you're a returning member, you might have noticed that all the old characters, threads, ect have been moved to the graveyard... but don't worry! your stuff isn't gone forever! just post below with any characters and threads that you would like to be moved back to the main boards!
please note that Wild Pokemon threads won't be moved back. however, you can keep any pokemon spawned in those threads even if you hadn't icly captured them yet if you wish.
this offer to restore your characters only extends until the full opening. after that, all unclaimed accounts will be deleted and pcs purged to add to the giveaway.
we're making some changes around the site, too! so don't be worried if things move around suddenly or rules get tweaked. most of the larger changes have already taken place and we're always open to suggestions on how to streamline the rules to be easier to understand and read!
some of the changes we've included are:
- General tweaks to wording for clarity.
- Rangers are now open for creation.
- You can now buy things with Gold as long as you have enough. You don't need to convert it beforehand anymore.
- 'Double' characters are now no longer allowed. This means you can't play a couple, set of twins, ect and only rp with yourself.
- A new way to trade in and buy eggs was added! Check it out here!
lastly, as a special bonus and a 'Founder's Gift' for all of you in our soft opening, if you post below you will get a random level 5 pokemon spawned for you! you don't need to have a character accepted to claim your gift and you can only claim once!
