[attr="class","rostercat2"]To start things off, Alex is creative. The kind of creative that makes her come up with new ideas almost all the time, either for stories or drawing or anything else. If she's given time, she'll come up with something. It just may take her a while. On the other hand, Alex struggles with the ideas if she's put on the spot. If she has to come up with something at that exact time, her mind goes blank, and any ideas she may have had are either all too odd to her now, or forgotten just like the rest of them. Alex is also very loyal. She wouldn't turn on anyone or anything, as she thinks that would be the worst thing she could do. She wouldn't have any problem standing up to anyone who was hurting her friends and family. She plans to always be in touch with those she cares about; as long as they want her around as well, of course. As much as it would hurt her, she wouldn't stay around someone if they didn't want her to. She'll be the best friend that she can, otherwise, though, although at times this may not be all that great. It's going to be all good just so long as she tries to be the greatest friend that she's able to, right? Nobody comes before anyone else; if even her worst enemy was in danger, Alex would be just as quick to try and swoop in and go the rescue. It would really just depend on who was worse off. Someone who was not in that much danger, or who could get themselves out, would have to wait a longer time than someone who was in more danger, if they even needed her help at that point. Of coure, Alex isn't perfect. She makes flaws, and mistakes; she's human, after all. One example of this is that Alex is rebellious. She always has been, from when she was younger. Authority over her was never anything she found herself caring for. She'll fight against anything even slightly resembling it, and views it with a sort of hatred. She knows that without everything, the world would be chaos. That doesn't mean that she's not allowed to absolutely hate it. She just wants to do whatever she wants; she didn't have the option to do that when she was younger. Alex is also very short tempered, and quick to anger. It doesn't take too much to make her mad. Usually, it's what sher herself does, or a turn of events that makes her plans not turn out. Due to this, she get annoyed all too often, and finds others a bit irritating more than just a little of the time. She can come off as a bit snappy, or grumpy due to how quickly she can get mad or annoyed. It's a bit difficult for her to keep her anger under control, but, luckily, it doesn't last all that long. She's independent, and maybe a bit prideful as well. Alex isn't about to let anyone help her unless she absolutely has to. Even when she does, she won't be all too happy about it. She'd rather do anything with the help of anyone else, and it's a bit hard for her to even admit to herself that she would need help. She'd rather struggle and tire herself out if it meant that she would get the job done without having to ask anyone for help. She definately won't be the type to admit it; someone will have to ask her first. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"]Alex never had much of a childhood. Being born and raised in Snowpoint meant that she didn't get to go outside too often. The times she did get to, she was bundled up and forced to stay with her parents' Pokemon, who all usually were at least partially fire type. They were a bit overprotective, but Alex didn't really mind all that much. Not at first, at least. Even when she had to stare out the window and watch the other children her age running and throwing snowballs, she didn't really care. It was to keep her safe, after all. That's what her parents said when she brought it up to them. Due to not really being able to interact with people, Alex didn't have many friends, even when it was time for her to start school. She knew some of her classmates, or had seen them, but she had never even talked to them before. It was hard for her to really interact with anyone. She was worried that she would say the wrong thing, or accidentally offend someone. She stayed by herself due to this, trying to gather up the courage to talk to some of them. It would be much later until she maanaged to, and only with the help of a teacher. Alex found that her male classmates were more interesting than her female ones, and so, when the time came, she went to them. To her surprise, they accepted her fairly well, and she became part of the group. A part of her considered herself to be part of the guys, and she threw herself in every activity that they did, her worry of offending them quickly lost. She did whatever they did, for the most part, although she was a bit scared of causing trouble. As the years passed, things began to change. The group of females began to split up, and while some were focused on dating and boys, others were like Alex, joking around with the group. Alex was still comfortable hanging around the guys; at eleven years old, she found that she could care less about if they liked her. At this age is when she realied just how much she hated being told what to do. She started becoming more confident, and she was far from afraid about telling her opinions or even arguing with the small group of friends. At thirteen, Alex became convinced that she wanted to cut her hair short. It was too long for her, and it took too long for her to brush and dry. She brought it up to her parents, and the response she was met with was a negative one. They claimed that her hair wouldn't look right if it was short, that she wouldn't look right with short hair. It seemed to become a constant battle; both sides were determined to have their way. Finally, despite not wanting to, Alex gave up. For now, at least; she began plotting for whenever she left. At sixteen, Alex began to notice her male and female classmates in more of a romantic light. While she wasn't exactly sure what it would be called, she knew that she wouldn't have a problem with dating anyone, no matter their gender. While a part of her wanted to tell her parents, she knew that they were more old-fashioned, and probably wouldn't take to it well. So, despite wanting to explain it, she stayed quiet about it, telling herself that it would be the best option at the moment. She told herself that she would tell them whenever she got the chance. At nineteen, Alex started buying baggy clothes, clothes that she felt more comfortable wearing. While she didn't start the argument over her hair again, she did start one about leaving home. Just like with her hair, she got a negative reaction. While she had been expecting it, due to how her parents had never loosened up, a part of her was annoyed, and she lashed out at them, only managing to make herself more upset. It sparked an argument, the first one in a while, ever since her hair. She forced herself to calm down, and tried to end the argument. At twenty-one, Alex had began to raise money. Everything her parents gave her was saved up, hidden, as she plotted to leave. She had heard of a region called Inset, and while it would take a while yet, she knew that this is where she wanted to go. She could do anything she wanted, and she wouldn't have to worry about being fussed over by her parents. It was a bad idea, she knew, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to do anything unless she left. She'd stay in Snowpoint unless she headed out someday. A few months after her twenty-third birthday, Alex knew that it was time. She had a small amount of money, and she had clothes stashed, and there was food she could pack. After her parents went to bed, she was rushed, packing until the early hours of the morning for her journey. When it was time, she threw together a quick note, short and simple, and slipped out, armed with only a flashlight, her warmest clothes, and the items that she had packed. Somehow, by sheer luck, she made it, and began traveling to the nearest port, using friendly strangers or just her own two feet. A few days before she set out on a boat to Inset, she cut her hair, and although it was a bit jagged, a little styling made it look okay. Not the best, but something she was comfortable with. With that being her last act in the region, she hopped on the boat, heading to the place she hoped would be her new home. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]HISTORY |
