She worries a great deal about others and their feelings and will spend an inordinate amount of time double checking that they’re okay rather than worrying about herself. This can lead to her being unwilling to battle and bring harm to someone else, preferring a diplomatic pacifist approach to many of life’s problems.
She has a habit of inserting bee related puns into her speech patterns as well, so anything from flowers to honey to bees to hives and buzzing. She can get creative with it and sometimes even does a bad job of forcing a pun even if it makes the word awkward or flow unnaturally in the sentence just to get the wordplay in.
She’s also not very good at keeping personal bubbles and will zoom into people’s spaces/faces, touch their hair, rest on them without invitation, etc. Some may not mind it but others who are a little more sensitive to this sort of thing may end up telling her off - which would send her into a downward spiral at the thought of making anyone uncomfortable and will be anxious that they must hate her now. Although she can often be seen with her head towards the sky, enjoying the beauty of nature, her mind stays firmly planted on the ground. She is a very kind pokemon, almost motherly in nature. Often times she will act as a go between when two pokemon are fighting, happy to be a mediator.
Despite all this, she's has a rather profane was of speaking. She'll tell you you're a fucking mess, but with love. She often times is used as a mount for smaller or baby pokemon who don't want to walk anymore.
Deerling also has an affinity for anything in the sky. She enjoys cloud watching, star gazing and the various celestial events. Often times she'll tell others to look skywards when an interesting cloud comes by.

A large sweeping fire decimated her home and family, leaving her a broken and grieving pokemon. She found solace in turning to her spiritual side, often turning towards the Poke Gods when her life felt empty and meaningless. Swirlix continues to maintain her belief in the gods that govern the world and will often be found praying to them.
This is where she met her current trainer, Ellie. Although she accepted the woman as her trainer she is struggling to get back on her feet. Swirlix suffers from vivid flash backs of the fire and is quite solemn. Preferring to simply be apart of the group as opposed to actively participating in it.
It will take a lot of time for her to fully recover and regain her once chipper attitude.

From the moment she hatched she was hellbent on living the lavish life humans seemed to enjoy. Living in the outskirts of Cassopeia Village allowed her to occasionally sneak into the town to roam around much like the humans did. She found herself quickly enamored with jewelry and quickly found the only way to obtain it was through a human form of currency.
This led the spoiled pokemon to find Ellie. After a rather shocking surprise attack from the breeder, she found herself captured. Although still young and very needy, she holds a resentment towards Cutiefly, labelling her some sort of traitor in her mind.
Even so, her lust for shiny things never quite faded. Igglybuff is learning that she will have to get over her dislike for her partner pokemon to get her hands on the luxurious lifestyle she believes Ellie can get her.
