Full Personality: Allen is someone who likes to keep his past and his emotions locked up to the best of his ability. A good chunk of the time he seems to be perpetually annoyed by anyone and anything that comes his way. He likes to keep things professional and will often set aside his own feelings for either the sake of work or for the sake of taking care of his little brother. He's inwardly headstrong and while he appears to be completely in control of himself on the inside he's a spiraling pit of self doubt.

One of his biggest worries is that he'll never find someone that actually cares about him and after getting out of an extremely abusive relationship he's afraid to try again. He doesn't like being controlled and while his job is currently taking orders and helping someone he will never be happy about being ordered around. Hence why no one really wants to keep them as their secretary for too long. He works too hard and often finds himself pushing himself to the point of exhaustion without much concern about his own health. The only time he even bothers to worry about it is when Wesley has brought it to his attention that he might be ill.

[attr="class","rostercat2"]Allen was born to a rather intelligent pair of individuals. Both Anya and Erin were scientists and taught Allen that information and knowledge would put him ahead of the rest of the kids in his class. They gave him books and occasionally let him go to study groups with friends but more often than not he was content with just sitting at home. That is until he had to move in with his grandmother. An accident took his parents away from him and while he didn't know his grandmother well he did know that she was extremely religious. Not long after Allen was sent to live with her a foster child also came into the residence as well and while Marie was too old to watch the child properly Allen took up the mantle of taking care of his new younger brother.

They grew up together and while Allen wasn't too far older than the other boy Wesley regarded him as less of a brother and more of a father figure. After their grandmother died Allen filed for custody of him so that they wouldn't be separated and was granted it on a trial basis. He got a job doing work that he hated for people that were either nothing but disgusting perverts or so incompetent that he ended up doing a lot of their work for them. Then again no one ever said that being a secretary was easy. One of these men happened to be named Elias, someone who seemed to be somewhat normal and while he worked for him eventually they started seeing each other in secret.

That's when Elias changed. Everything about him flipped into something darker and it wasn't long before Allen started coming home with bruises and cuts on his body that he wasn't quite sure how to explain to Wesley so eventually he stopped trying. Luckily enough for Allen though Elias was having trouble elsewhere, especially his finances and before long he was arrested. Not for the loads of abuse but instead for embezzling funds out of his company which left Allen jobless once more. With Wesley starting his own journey and the phone not ringing Allen had to do what he could to get by. And if that meant adventuring then... So be it...
