Ah, electric types. Kaneda didn't have one but that's because he messed with a Jolteon a little more than he should of and constantly got shocked for it... damned finicky thing.

Alright, so if there was anything Kaneda was a-okay with witnessing, it was a Breeder trying to figure out his eggs after they hatched. Seemed like Harris had a lot of questions. It sounded like he had his hands full, too, with how the little booger kept shocking him. Which Kaneda sort of felt like that last one was his fault since he was the one who had called it a booger in the first place... Whoops.

Unlike Harris, Kaneda didn't jump. No, the dull prob of a psychic Pokemon pushing a thought into his mind had Kaneda nearly teary-eyed-- okay, that was dramatic. But he sure as hell was grinning from ear to ear and nearly emotional from it. He hadn't had a probe like that since his Espeon, and he was damn excited to feel it again. Even if it was a Pokemon that wasn't his giving said nudge of his mind and given thought.

Either way, he was giving a wide smile down at the Natu. "Well look at you. Brilliant little brat..." somehow calling people and Pokemon names seemed to be an endearing way of addressing them to Kaneda. This was learned by the fact that both the baby Pokemon had been called booger and brat... both B's, so that was also a plus. Seemed there was some sort of theme. He'd probably call Astra 'babe' if he wasn't afraid she'd erupt. Never invoke wrath you can't handle. That bit of advice had kept him safe through the years from a few different worlds of hurt.

Whether those sparks meant good or bad things Kaneda wasn't sure. But it seemed that she and Harris already developed a sort of mutual understanding and bond. Who was he to deny that? She sparked and he listened.

The idea of a name had his mind churning in circles to try and get a grip on one that might tickle her fancy. Seemed like she was particular about her name. Well, he couldn't blame the noodle. She would be stuck with it forever after all.

He cycled through synonyms and words off the top of his head that sounded decently elegant and that might match her seemingly picky standards. "Iridescent? Iria for short... uh." He shrugged his shoulders. "I usually spend some time with the Pokémon for a while or pick from whatever theme they seem to radiate. This one has some spunk, sparks a lot, pretty colors, it's a girl. Radiance, or Radiant is a good one too." And with that came another shrug.

The pleased grin across Kaneda’s face showed his gratitude toward the name being appreciated. He figured maybe it would have applied to her more feminine side, but he hadn't realized it would work. Looked like he could shut down that side of his brain now. No arguments from him. Less work the better, and all that.

When Harris offered that he should drop by and see him more often, Kaneda gave a warm smile. It would be nice to sleep somewhere other than a Pokémon Center or an inn. Hotels were generally too fancy for his taste. Even Pokémon Centers were to an extent. But then again if it was free he wouldn't complain. Either way, going to Happy Harris Farm sounded like a great vacation.

“Y’know, it really is a little dorky.” He admitted, about the name anyway. Who was he to judge though? He might have been able to name a Pokémon decently but when it came to naming farms he was pretty much shit at it.

A small shrug later and he nodded. “I will though, come for a visit. And maybe help you come up with a name that doesn't scream Fairy types only.” That last bit was laughed out.
