| Pokemon: | Trent paused patiently waiting. The oddish behind him grinning ear to ear as the waltzed along quite literally. He had learned awhile ago that she had a sweet tooth for onions. So the wild ones here in the forest had been quite the treat for her. She hadn't refused to go in her ball but she was so full of energy now her trainer didn't seem to mind to let her wear it off a bit. Through dancing; it was her lifelong dream to become a bellosom. She was pretty sure he'd make it happen. Darrik rolled his eyes from his perch on Trent's shoulders. The bird still thought she was way too careless dancing around like that. There were nests in these trees after all even with a trainer nearby she could be ripe prey. That could just be his bird side talking though. He cast a sidelong glance to his trainer as she passed them by. His trainers face looked the same as always. No hint of annoyance showing on his face. Darrik decided to take the initiative once more to break his trainer's static expression. A gentle peck to the ear and he was dismounted as Trent covered it up. The look of annoyance finally showing. Seriously was he the only one who could get the guy to break. "I told you to stop doing that," Trent huffed. He couldn't help that it tickled. His gaze remaining on the snickering bird. Tina chuckled as well. They got along so well. TAGS: wizz • Wordcount: 253 +5 Green |

[ ] larvitar - first thread myster egg - first post Right. So maybe a forest wasn't the best idea to try and find some good soil to bury this egg. But Kaneda felt that he could easily find comfort or at least a camping spot in this forest. He could bury the egg, then he could set up camp, then he could look after the egg and make sure nobody stepped on where he buried it. Curious about why he is burying it? So glad you asked. Both eggs didn't get buried, only the one which he had clearly figured out was a Larvitar egg. The reason being, Larvitar eggs prefer to be buried to hatch. That didn't bother Kaneda one wee little bit. What confused him was the other egg. He had no idea what the hell the thing was and it confused him on how to take care of it. So, he had it in the fold of his shirt which was tucked into his belt, and it ironically made him look a little pregnant when he stood up straight. Comical as that was, it was because Kaneda knew that he at least had to keep the thing warm. At least, that's what all his research had led him to believe. All that to say, Kaneda was currently building a fire, avoiding knocking the egg in his shirt with any of the sticks he was stacking up. He didn't have a tent perched because he planned on sleeping leaned up against the tree. There was a fresh mound of recently dug up dirt just in front of the tree to indicate he'd buried the Larvitar egg to make it happy. Once he had the sticks set, he dug around in his bag - avoiding knocking out a few gems he'd dug up while making the Larvitar egg its home - and used a flint from his bag and started the fire. Footsteps lead his eyes to look up, noticing a figure not too far off. What, is this place a popular tourist attraction or something? He thought. It was a stupid forest - granted it did have gems all on the ground and trees. But he just thought those were there as part of the forest. How was he supposed to know otherwise? It wasn't like he was a local. words. 393 notes. sorry that took forever! ; ~; Dantelion

| Pokemon: | Darrik grinned ear to ear as his trainer started walking again. The guy not quite leaving his ear defenseless yet. The bird swooped in onto his other shoulder and Trent cast him a sidelong glance before stopping. The smell of smoke began filling his nose. It was a bit faint yet and he scanned the forest for signs of fire. It would be bad if a wildfire had started since they had no way to protect themselves. Darrik spotted the fire first patting his trainer's cheek with one wing and pointing with the other. His keen eyes had picked up the glow a lot better. He knew it was a campfire too since it was in just one place. Something he knew his trainer had probably also figured out. "Think we should go check it out," Darrik asked Tina more than Trent since the guy was oblivious to pokespeak. He looked around when he didn't get an answer. She was gone. Tina was already heading towards the fire and whoever made it. The oddish liking the idea of someone who may dance with her. Trent nor Darrik would not that it was much of a bother. She wished they would but she didn't have a bone in her body to push for what she wanted. Darrik knew immediately Tina was going for the fire. He chirped her name flying off to follow and earning a sigh from his trainer. Darrik felt much the same considering she was oblivious. What if the guy had a fire type for crying out loud. There was a difference between fearless and stupid. "Hiya," Tina said as she came into the small clearing. A polite smile adorning her features. "You shouldn't go running off on your own,"Darrik said landing in a huff beside her. "Okay,"Tina said. "But why?" Darrik put a wing over his head in response. Would there be a point in trying to explain it to her? "Sorry for the interruption," Trent said looking to the purple haired woman before looking to the pair. TAGS: wizz • Wordcount: 343 +5 Green |

[ ] larvitar - first thread myster egg - second post Kaneda raised one of his eyebrows as an Oddish approached, the bird that followed seemed to know what it was saying. Kaneda sat up straight and gave a warm smile to the ones who were making their way closer. The trainer's words broke through the speech barrier. Finally, somebody, he could understand. "It's not a problem."He spoke honestly. He didn't mind company. So long as the company wasn't stealing from him. "Brings you guys out to the forest?" Instinct lead him to sit up against the tree just behind the mound of fresh dirt showing he'd buried something on the ground there. He leaned against the tree, one knee propped up and the other leg sprawled straight out. words. 127 notes. Dantelion

| Pokemon: | Trent had to correct himself after hearing 'his' voice. Though it was an honest mistake considering he had a rotund belly at the moment. He was definitely hiding something within his shirt. "Research mostly," Trent responded unmoving from where he stood. "It is better to observe Pokemon in their natural habitat."
"You could just say you are lost," Darrik sighed. His human having decided to take the longer path between cities had no sense of direction without a road in front of him. Though one could also blame the trees they were hard to see through. "And yourself," Trent said not removing his eyes from this purple haired man. "We skipped introductions," Tina said looking to Darrik. The bird shrugged in response. "I got no clue. But like usual he seems colder around people," Darrik responded. The bird still had no idea what caused such a change in him despite being around him the longest. "They just need to find common ground," Tina said smiling and walking over to the guy. She examined the mound a moment before looking up at him her leaves falling to one side like she was cocking her head. TAGS: wizz • Wordcount: 194 +5 Green |

[ ] larvitar - first thread myster egg - third post "Research, huh?" He could hear the small chatter between the two Pokemon but didn't know in the slightest what they were talking amongst themselves about. It was annoying because Kaneda would have loved to hear their conversations. In the past, he had watched trainers interact with their Pokemon like this. Inset was almost annoying with how well their people, even children, understood the language of Pokemon. He just hadn't ever been taught, or maybe he couldn't be taught. Some people couldn't pick up a new language simply because their mind wasn't made for it. Or maybe his ears were broken. Either way, he looked back up at the guy with hair just as long as his own, moving to take his egg from his pouch. "I'm trying to hatch this little guy." he gently pushed his hand into the dirt, starting to create a hole big enough for the egg in his hand. He set it into the hole and started covering it with dirt. "The type of egg it is, it likes to be buried and hatches underground. So, I figured, what the hell. Why not camp out a few days for it?"words. 206 notes. Dantelion

| Pokemon: | Trent looked to the egg in vague interest. He didn't really consider himself to have the patience to hatch them. So he's never tried to raise a Pokemon straight from the shell. Child like Pokemon he wasn't sure he could handle. "You would be better off with an incubator," Trent said bluntly. "Weather is unpredictable."
"His Pokemon aren't hatched yet," Tina said stating the obvious. She walked around the on egg he just took out. She wanted to dance with the small Pokemon inside. "I bet they'll be cute."
"No idea," Darrik shrugged and returned to his trainers shoulder. He pecked at his ear earning a glare. He motioned to the guy with his wing as though prompting something from his trainer. "Trent Moudry," Trent said figuring that was what the bird was wanting. He still couldn't speak the language but he was becoming accustomed to his Pokemons actions. "That's Tina, this is Darrik," he said pointing to each in turn. "Don't mind her. Her only thought is of dancing." "And trying to get others to dance," Darrik added. He seriously had no idea why she wanted to dance with everyone she met. He knew she wanted to be a bellossom but there was a difference between a passion and obsession. [ ] larvitar - first thread mystery egg - fourth post Listening to Trent introduce himself prompted Kaneda to carefully stand up. He extended his hand in a gesture of greeting, providing the option for a handshake. Because that's what you're supposed to do, that's the proper thing to do. "Kaneda." As per usual, his last name was left out. He glanced at Darrik and then to Tina. "And it's a pleasure to meet the two of you." He glanced between the two of them and then back to the Trainer to which they belonged. "Dancing makes sense, aspirations of a future evolution and all. Once knew a Charmander that threw himself off various heights because he thought he could fly." Which was hilarious only after he'd broken the Charmander's fall out of a six-story building. words. 138 notes. Dantelion

| Pokemon: | Trent accepted his handshake. It was only polite after all. It seemed this man was raised right at least. Though he doubted his friendliness would last so long. Trent had a tendency to say the wrong things which is why he avoided interaction as much as possible. It seemed he would be getting a lot more now though. With as friendly as his Pokemon are. Maybe he should train them to avoid others. Putting leashes on the pair may look cruel though. "Aspirations are only good if they are obtainable. Otherwise they are just dreams. And there is no point in dreaming," Trent stated bluntly. He admittedly had a dream of his own but he figured it was unobtainable long ago. He was trying to make it obtainable but he would be an old man before it really happened if at all. "As blunt as ever," Darrik said with a scoff. "It is obtainable at least." "I assume that charmander is now dead as well," Trent said ignoring his birds disapproving tone. "Since such a thing is impossible until it becomes full grown.""So sad," Tina said having taken up residence beside the egg. Her leaves covering it slightly. She was eager to see what was inside. [ ] larvitar - first thread mystery egg - fifth post Overall there was a lot to process. This guy needed some booze, that's what Kaneda had decided. Unless of course, he was the type of guy who wasn't really affected by it and just got drowsy from it. Then it would just be better to try and get him to be a little bit looser. Either way, Kaneda couldn't blame him, because he had a point. Aspirations were typically only considered 'good' if they were obtained. Aspirations were only rewarded if they were completed - like goals. But to call them 'dreams' and to say there was no hope in dreaming? Maybe this guy simply needed a light in his dark dank tunnel known as his point of view on life. The Oddish, Tina, seemed to be doing decently well at being light. Maybe this guy was impervious to light? Either way, Kaneda was intrigued. "Aspirations are only good if obtainable, if unobtainable they are considered dreams, and there is no point of dreaming... because?" Didn't this guy watch all those kid movies? Maybe that's what was wrong, his life was void of those flakey kid movies that tell you to dream big dreams and be a better you and all that shit. Kaneda was a realist, but he was also the type of guy who saw the good in life until proven otherwise. So why not dream? Dreaming wasn't a bad thing, not in his opinion. It was a way to inspire yourself. At least, that's what he believed. words. 258 notes. Dantelion

| Pokemon: | Trent's brow furrowed a bit. The guy wasn't put off by his words yet. It usually didn't take much to send a person walking the other way. "Dreams are unobtainable wishes one has. Wishes are in and of themselves but a figment of a desire a person has. As children people wish for maybe things. To be a master of something, to have a perfect family, etc. Reality is much harsher than any dream and wishes are warped. They become a wish for simple things like a day without a boss yelling at you or a simple vacation from your duties," Trent said wiping it all away. "In the end dreams are just that. Your imagination running wild while you sleep trying to make a happiness that shall never exist in reality."
"Why'd I pick you again," Darrik muttered placing wing to face. "Oh right you were reading a romance novel. Like you don't dream you, hypocrite." Darrik pecked his ear earning a flick to the head. "If you do not dream, wish or expect anything from this world you shall never be disappointed," Trent continued. "True happiness is simply being content with what you have and nothing more. You may wish for things but it should be attainable else it becomes a dream." It was true and yet even in his contentment he could not smile much. He simply was there. Darrik began to plot a little reveal about his trainer as he spoke. The guy still had his books on him. Telling one person not to dream while he himself dreamed of romance from novels. For shame on him. TAGS: wizz • Wordcount: 271 +5 Green |

[ ] larvitar - first thread mystery egg - sixth post Somehow he had opened up a can of worms and in a way, he was totally fine with it. He took his seat back in front of his tree, waving to invite Trent to sit because.... why the hell not. They had already started a deep conversation, so why not continue on with it? Everything Trent said was his own truth and Kaneda decided it wasn't really his own. Sure, in a way, he definitely agreed. If you don't dream, you don't get disappointed. He could relate to that. "Not very long ago, I dreamed of freedom." The truth bomb he'd just lit was about to blow up and he wasn't sure he was ready for it. However, Trent didn't seem like some sort of police spy so he figured he may as well be honest. Maybe because Trent himself was being honest and open-- or so, Kaneda got the impression he was. "I was in a position in life where freedom was not my own. I was in a position where it wasn't my decision how to live my life, and I hated it. I lived every day with the determination to make my dream of freedom come true. One day, the dream did come true, because I made it come true. My aspirations of freedom became a beautiful and blinding reality. Here I am, a free man, talking the strangest philosophy I never thought I'd talk about in my life with a guy I barely know all because I had a dream, was inspired to make it a reality, and took life by the reigns and made it so." He tilted his head in thought. "I think, that maybe, what you're talking about are called dreams, and maybe what I'm talking about is actually called hope. But in a sense, I think they're the same thing... though, maybe your dreams just lost their hope and inspiration and were no longer aspirations and instead things that you wished had come true, and didn't. My dreams were a goal, your dreams are a wish."These sorts of topics weren't his forte. As a matter of fact, he was a bit impressed with himself for getting that far into a thought process and actually completing it. For a second, he wondered if he was really him. "Maybe there are like, sub-categories to dreams. The kind you hope, the kind you wish, and the kind you get when you accidentally take a nap in the middle of the day..." And there he was, back to being himself, the guy with not so elegant linguistic skills. words. 457 notes. Dantelion what in the hell just happened kaneda just philosphy'd holy christmas

| Pokemon: | He started out strong but what the hell was that at the end. Trent sat at the other end away from him. At least the guy didn't outright say he was wrong. Though the fact he wished for freedom and the way he worded it made him sound like he had been a slave. "I can agree," Trent said keeping eye contact. "There are different kinds of dreams. My own were only made impossible by others and thus have become impossible for me."He had no obligation to explain his story to this man. As he had said they barely knew each other. Not to mention he had stopped dwelling on it long ago. Darrik turned around hopping onto the backpack Trent had been carrying. He waited patiently for them to resume their talk. He'd get flicked off otherwise. "The fact remains the same," Trent said ignoring the bird and whatever he was planning. He assumed he just wanted a snack. "Considering your dream was of freedom it was always fully possible. Throughout history there have been various battles in the name of freedom. Those battles have been won over and over again."
"It is far simpler than most other dreams. Considering it is physically possible although there will be some mental strain. Several dreams rely on the mind more however. If one dreams to become a astronaut for example they must have the mental capacity to understand how to run a shuttle. They must know how everything works and how to think on the fly. It is more than just leaving behind chains and bars and mental limitations," Trent said pretty much telling him his dream was a simple one. "All strengths play a part. Mental and physical if you do not have both your aspirations are simply dreams," Trent said. Darrik meanwhile had been working the bag open his head poking in to try and find one of those books. Trent shifted purposely knocking him in before reaching over and pulling him out. His talons both holding onto one of the books as though to keep a prize. Trent held him there un-amused by the fact the birds talons were digging into the books cover. The cover easily showing it was a romance. "You totally deserve this," Darrik said chuckling. He knew the guy wouldn't let this slide. Especially if he was anything like Darrik and thought it was smutty like he did at first. TAGS: wizz • Wordcount: 407 +5 Green |

[ ] larvitar - first thread mystery egg - seventh post What Kaneda was slowly learning was that Trent never thought himself wrong, that his perspective was always right, and nobody could tell him otherwise. He was also wondering if maybe Trent was more argumentative than he was conversational and that just had Kaneda raising a brow. Because for a guy who seemed to be so stiff, he sure did like to hear himself talk. But don't all the stiffs? Stiff or not, Kaneda probably had his own quirks people hated. So why not just accept the fact that Trent has his perspective and Kaneda would have his. This guy had been done a wrong and hadn't gotten over it. Sure, people did wrong to Kaneda, but what use would it be to dwell on them and let them control his happiness? No thanks, he'd rather live free, and be able to sleep at night. But, everybody was different. Kaneda believed that more than he believed oxygen was needed to breathe. He'd never been a science major though, so that was probably why. All thought process halted to an immediate stop when he saw the book cover. He blinked twice, then suddenly he was grinning. "Was... Is that what I think it is?" Finally, some middle ground! Kaneda could talk about dirty books, almost all day. He liked to read magazines and all that but if he had his pick? It was a dirty romance novel he was reading on his Pokegear. words. 249 notes. | Pokemon: | "It's not smut but romance. And I suppose you could say my aspiration," Trent said grabbing it from his bird and placing it back inside. "Even love itself is nothing but chemical reactions and a fine line of emotions."
"Let me put it this way. I am who I am because I've never experienced such things. I have become numb to the world outside my own because I was ignored by my own family," Trent explained. "My opinions are my own because I was never raised to think otherwise. I tend to piss people off more often than not." "I can agree with that," Darrik aid thinking to the old lady from a few nights ago. He had pissed her off so bad she threw a seedot at him. Trent tossed Darrik over his shoulder. He had a good guess what he had said. The bird caught himself midair and flew back to his shoulder pecking his ear in retaliation and earning a flick. "Thus I prefer company of Pokemon over humans. I don't understand a word but at least I can ignore them more readily," Trent said. "That is why your face never changes isn't it, geez," Darrik huffed.
