[attr="class","rostercat2"]Ellie has always been a very pretty child. From the moment of her birth, her parents marveled in the beauty of their blue-eyed and pink haired daughter. As she grew, she would later hear stories of how a rainbow suddenly covered the sky as she uttered her first sounds in the living world. Such words would eventually get to the young girl and she would reveal in the random compliments given to her by strangers. It didn't take long for her parents to get her into pageants, further reinforcing her own mental image of herself.

And like the saying goes, she didn't have brains to match the beauty. She barely made it through school, passing by the skin of her teeth. At the age of sixteen she was discovered by a modelling agency and completely dropped out of school herself. She made it big, and fast. Money poured in from all over and she quickly found herself lavished with gifts. It didn't take long for Ellie to begin to expect this kind of behavior and as she entered adulthood she found herself struggling to maintain her fiances as she lived her lavish lifestyle.

As work began to drop off, Ellie found herself losing her expensive apartment and just barely managing to get herself a flat in the ghetto of Rigel City. Not content with this, Ellie floated around on odd jobs, finding herself fired quickly as she acted much like the diva she was. When the last of her savings ran dry, she looked towards the pokemon world for the first time in her life. As she looked through the common profession, she found herself turned off by the hard work needed to be trainer or a coordinator, and certainly a research was out.
In fact, a breeder seemed to be the easiest gig. Just throw two pokemon in a hut and sell the babies, right?

And that was the beginning of her misbegotten adventure~
