[attr="class","rostercat2"]To most, Humphrey seems to be the classic privileged brat. As he views that high society is better than living in a lower class, he is used to the wealth that his family status brings. However, his parents did install manners in him. Thus he can be gentleman when the time needs it but he does have the issue of being a flirt to the pretty woman. While he does flirt with woman, he actually will complement the elderly and treat them with kindness rather than be a brat and call them ugly; this is due to his grandmother being the most prominent female role in his life and he loves her greatly. He'll also encourage people who believe they aren't ugly and is willing to share the wealth to lend them a hand in getting them started on the road to being gorgeous. If it's a elderly woman though he'll tell her that she has the natural beauty there is and adding things onto herself will not aid in her complexion. Needless to say, he can be very stubborn and he doesn't like to give into others with arguments, preferring to be the winner in that area. Some could say he becomes competitive as well with this stubbornness and it's true however, his competitive streak is actually able to end faster than his natural stubbornness. In fact, he loves to make bets and wagers with other people no matter their social standing; but in truth, he loves it when it's against people of a lower standing than himself. One way to really get on his bad side is to use the stereotype for pokemon only being used for battle or mindless creatures. He sees them as gorgeous creatures with great potential as almost every person can be compared to a pokemon as their own spiritual self; like a spirit animal. With this said, he actually isn't religious himself but he finds the various tales and beliefs of the world interesting. A intelligent and charisma holding man with a flirting way. He's not the worst thing that you could run into. He can be nice and while hi stubbornness and bets could interfere with making friends or getting along with others. He's not a fully negative standing person. Sure when angered, he'll be the first to lose himself to his emotions and start calling you out. Throwing out insults he hadn't before and thus making him holding a bad temper. Deep down, there is a piece of him that wants a whole family but isn't something he will actively pursue. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"]It's probably no surprise that a wealthy family resides in Rigel City, and that the family was so caught up in their desires to keep their standing that their own child got ignored? Welp that's Humphrey case as the only heir to the Noirstein family as well a their own company. Sure the company isn't anything that is super famous or well known, but it does good enough to where the family has hit a good amount of wealth. While his father was a bit more involved with the lad, it was mostly is grandmother who raised him. The kindness of the woman and her luxray, Duchess were what set the lad on a kinder path than what could've been. Still as the slightly lonely years of childhood faded away even when going to private schools. At times he did fall into the natural stereotype for his own status and then he would actually be the one to cause trouble with his bets against other students showing he had a wild streak in him. These antics lasted through highschool and honestly, they sometimes worsened due to old challengers wanting a rematch with their old lost bets. Now his father didn't care and his mother, barely said a word to him unless it was preparing him for some big event. His grandmother would be the one to try and break him out of these bets but not even she could tame his wild sides. However, something finally caught his attention. Being a trainer, researcher, or breeder sounded boring to him. A ranger sounded cool as he grew up but he eventually figured it wouldn't suit him. Then...coordinators entered his life when his family attend a event to support the daughter of a friend of theirs; whom they were planning on having their son became engaged to. Now the young lady wasn't what got his interest for a change. IT was the performance, the way that the moves and the pokemon moved to make the event entertaining and eye catching. That was when it became something that took his interest in. His parent were unaware of it though, thinking it was the girl who caught his heart. At twenty three years old, he met the girl face to face but his parents were shocked to see that their conversation consisted mostly of her pokemon and not the girl. This angered his mother as she wanted the two to marry. IT was only due to her husband trying to calm her that the next five years went by as her annoyance grew. For a mother who was never invested in time with her son, she certainly yelled at him for being a idiot with the girl when he turned twenty eight. Surprised but more annoyed, Humphrey merely told her off. Showing her no respect and flat out telling her that she wasn't a real mother, and the two exchanged more unkind words before his father and grandmother intervened. While his mother sulked in her prissy rage with only her husband for comfort. Humphrey was annoyed and still fuming with anger, but he had his grandmother and her pokemon to try and calm him. His grandmother told him to go out there and take on this path as nothing would ever please his mother to where it would still be himself. Seeing she was right, he left after giving her goodbyes to the one family members he truly loved and he went. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]HISTORY |
