[attr="class","rostercat2"]Henry's a passionate and caring guy, he's always willing to lend a hand to others who need it. He's a very determined individual and is willing to pursue his own way of life rather than following a path others would want him to. He pays close attention to details and what goes on around him though like many people he can still miss things; his attention to detail was something he used often in his job in order to draw scenes to help them to go together more fluently. Animating was something he enjoyed and often he was drawing pokemon for the show's characters, however he always went to the park near a route where wild pokemon roamed to better draw their movements. He does his best to have a good time and is very willing to let loose to have a little fun so long as it's not breaking any rules or laws. Though when it comes to what he is, he does his best to keep it hidden mainly for the safety of other people. The bad side is that this determination can also be stubbornness and he's got a very strong stubborn streak. He also has his rough days where he can be a bit of a grump and not wanting to socialize with people, this can also happen when his nerves are pulled too many times by Father's pestering of what they want him to do in life or just anyone thinking what you should do in life. Animation and thus drawing, is the only thing he believes he's good at and that makes his sketchbook the most important thing to him. While his father tried to force the life of a trainer on him, some of the lifestyle is unappealing to him. The pokemon are the part he likes but it's the constant wandering and traveling bit he isn't so fond of. . [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"]PBorn in the Kalos region, Henry came from the small town Vaniville. His father was a rather stern and strict man, believing that the one's place in the world had to proven through hard work and a long journey, a former trainer who failed to defeat the Elite Four in their youth; a fact they have never let go. His mother was a simple soul, who never had grand dreams other than her little bakery that her husband served as a delivery man to go pick up the larger orders of ingredients. Henry didn't really like the idea of either lifestyle, to wander around for your life, or to cook for others the whole time? Neither appealed and his interest turned to the creation of tv shows that often had his attention as a child. His father tried often to get him interested in the life of a trainer but the boy always sneaked away and grabbed some paper to try and get better at drawing. While one parent provided the encouragement, the other took all the confidence created by that encouragement and wrecked it. Until Henry was a teenager, he had always felt terrible when his father scolded him for wasting his time drawing. His love for it never faded though and after a bad fight with his father, the first thing he did was just go back to drawing. Realizing that almost believing his father's harsh words, he stood up to his father again but this time the lad left home. Having told them that there was no place in this small town for him nor in the family. While young enough to feel pain for his own hurtful words to his parents, his annoyance toward his father made it to where he wouldn't dare go back in that house. Having traveled by bus to Lumiose City, he went and stayed with his uncle on his mother's side till he graduated school. Right out of high school, Henry went to the nearest college and enrolled. College wasn't fun and presented many challenge from other hopeful artist. There was always this one girl, claiming that he needed to pay better attention to detail otherwise he'd end up doing short doodles for commercials that all looked like kindergarten material. Taking her teasing advice, he went and watched videos and pokemon in the wild move about, doing his best to get better through the course of college. It was rather surprising to him when he graduated there was already a studio interested in hiring him. Not caring about who hired him on, he accepted right away and started to work. Sadly the good times wouldn't last for long. Only his fourth year into animating and starting to work on his first actual cartoon with others, when things took a bad turn. His father came and at first it didn't seem like it would be horrible, oh how wrong he was. His father did his hardest to force the man to leave the studio but thankfully security was able to remove the man. Still, Henry went to his Uncle and told them what happened. Skids was a kind man and didn't like to hear how things got worse. So he gave Henry a way out. Producing a ticket to Inset, the man commented that he was going to go there himself and be free of living in a city but he felt Henry needed it more. Telling them to be careful and have fun, he requested that the man get a pokemon upon arriving. Merely to be safer and after thanking his Uncle, Henry left. However their request lingered in his mind the whole time. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]HISTORY |
