 Reid Barely- 21 years- Pokemon Research Intern- Straight Friends- Reid is fairly easy to get along with, if you can withstand the happy and cheerful kind who will encourage you. Though he doesn't go so far as to be happy go lucky, you will find him having serious moments and nervous ones. However a way to upset him is to ask about the bandages he has on his arms from his wrist up and around some of his neck. Enemies- these might be easy to make? After all, not everyone wants someone around them who can be so darn cheery. Others might just poke fun at him for the bandages he has on and that is one way to make him dislike you. Romance/Love interest- This can happen but I have no clues on how. So this is open Other- If you have any ideas please suggest away.  Caleb Conners- 17 years- former waiter/Trainer now- straight Friends- These should be easy, he's just a young man wanting to make something of himself in the world. Currently that has translated into being a trainer but that doesn't mean he'll remain that for his whole life. He craves the adventure of it and he can certainly bond with others over that. He's well mannered and polite, so he's pretty easy to get along with. Enemies- Now these aren't fully enemies but it's a way to get on his nervous, breeding. While he understands it's normal for pokemon to mate, he doesn't like the idea of it as a occupation. To him, it's just something that makes pokemon eggs to sell. There's no enjoyment, no fullfilment from it. And this is coming from a guy whose family tradition is being breeders! He won't try to be mean on it, it's just his opinion but many might hate him for it; his father is certainly against his son's views. Romance/love interest- I'm ope for him crushing on a girl but he's a bit young for a eternal soul mate. Other- Any ideas that don't go above? Suggest away. REID X MARCELLO Need someone to make fun of those bandages?
Say no more!
Cello is an asshole, bougie, elitist, and always harbors a better-than-you attitude. He doesn't really have a lot of friends in Inset right now. Most plots he has are antagonistic. But when it comes Reid, I think Cello should pretend to be his friend, just so he can have an informant in the research community? You catch more flies with honey than vinegar right? Although Cello well hate how perky and happy Reid is, making it hard for him to be fake sometimes.
I'm assuming at some point cover is blown and Cello/Reid battle each other lol. I'd love if they could be fake friends though. Let me know if this inspires any ideas on your part.

Cello and Reid
Make fun away! That is one way to get on Reid's bad side making fun of the bandages as in his mind, it's making fun of his burns; which he suffered through school getting teased for both. Reid will be none the wiser if Cello pretends to be a friend even when they snap at him depending on their words, Reid's cheery ways are just to hide his own pains and negative thinking so it'll be interesting to handle how Reid handles Cello's faking even when their facade is coming to a end. Pretend friends sounds like a good plot point for Reid, as in a way he would just be used by Cello which hasn't happened to him before. It'll no doubt make Reid feel conflicted when the big bomb is dropped that they weren't friends as Reid would've viewed them in a friendly way if not actual friends; unlike cello.
A battle when this reveal happens would be great as I don't really plan for Reid to go through the gyms; he's a researcher doing field work, gyms aren't what he thinks count as fieldwork lol. I can see when the battle with their pokemon ends no matter who wins, I can see cello still teasing and using words to further drive Reid into the ground. Though maybe Reid's bandages come off and reveal his scars? Cause he truthfully won't reveal them on his own accord unless he gets extremely pressured into it.
All in all pretend friends sounds like a good plot and Reid getting used will certainly hurt him emotionally, making more of his negative thought rise to the surface.

@readlliea , I would absolutely love to have Serenity meet up with both of your characters.  She meets Reid's age. She enjoys optimism and cheerfulness. Someone akin to her attitude would be perfect! As for Caleb, she could totally demand they go on a trainer adventure. She can be a little pushy.  Maybe that's what he needs? @tootsiepooh I'm glad you want to rp with my peeps. I also have more characters, I just forgot to update my plotter.
I think she'll fit well with meeting Reid, it will certainly help his mood whenever the issue of his scars or fire is around.
For Caleb, it could be rather helpful for him. Be warned though, he already has a snubull that is a movie lover yet manipulative pokemon, she might just demand the perishment of the adventure lol. But in all serious, Serenity might not want to be extremely pushy with that snubull of Caleb's around.
Is there any certain place you'd like for em to meet up at? Socials can be done anywhere on the board. Regardless of where they are in terms of routes, ya just need your starter first.
