[attr="class","rostercat2"]If one were to find all the positive attributes that best describe Judas, sensitive, compassionate, caring, and empathetic might all end up on that list with ease. Indeed, for his stern set of features and piercing blue eyes, Judas is a very warm and gentle person, earnest, honest, and always there to lend a hand, a shoulder, or a kind word. It's not difficult to find a smile on his features, if often a bit nervous of one, and he tries frequently to remain in good nature and mood, friendly and quite easy to get along with after some prodding to open up. He's also one to assist anyone in need, even a stranger, and humble always, quick to play himself down or uncertain around thanks and praise. For all his kindness, Judas can however be... A bit timid. Anxiety, nervousness, worry, these things are quick to spring to the forefront of his thoughts when pressed into uncomfortable situations or when things start to go wrong. Uncomfortable ranging from new experiences to dangerous activity to even talking with people he doesn't know yet or going to social gatherings. And if anything is amiss, he's usually the first to blame himself for it. He dislikes conflict with others or between others and has a tendency to avoid direct involvement with it, when pressed one can find him rather easy to intimidate, far more the lover then the fighter. His submissive nature tends also to find him naturally gravitating towards others, those who can protect him or those who can stay by his side and support him. Even staying at the edge of the crowd he enjoys the presence and comfort of others. Perhaps some of this can go towards explaining Judas' empathy, he has a strong affiniation for being able to feel and sense other emotions, often himself being easily affected by them. Passionate and loving, he tends thus to seek to help others and ease their ills and to help them be at ease and joyful, finding a smile almost impossible when others around him are in good cheer. If there were ever a way to find him bold, it would be defending another or trying to assist another, for indeed one could say Judas is the sort to give, and truly be giving, his life to others. He's an intelligent man, certainly, and not naïve, but it is within his job, and indeed his way of life to aid others, and he finds great joy and love in helping... And great frustration and sorrow in being helpless or unable to do enough. Beyond other people though, Judas is a bit of a dreamer, and, a somewhat formal and proper man who finds himself easily embarrassed or awkward in social situations, has many other passions and hobbies beyond merely his work. He has a love of pokemon, his gentle nature taking especially to the nurturing, raising, and care of them, though he would never be one to call himself a breeder. He loves especially flying types, prime among them his beloved doves; pidove, though many other small plump little first evolutions like starly and pidgey find their way into his special favor. Judas also has a fine taste in music, chiefly for classical pieces, himself skilled in violin and entranced by orchestral music. Arts and crafts have also found him, while only a decent sketch, ebroidery and crochet have both found his fine hands—already well accustomed to precise sewing of needles from stitch work–well suited for the simple quiet repetitive work they have to offer. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"] Judas grew up as an only child, well loved by his parents even if their work prevented them from always being around. Part of a well endowed family, they owned many pokémon even without either being in trade or business involving them, and Judas spent his childhood in a large almost mansion-like old house he called home a ways outside Ara village, a small place well beloved by his parents for its gentle warm atmosphere even as they often travelled a ways for work or spent days, even weeks at a time in other cities as business people. He spent many days within its walls alone, wandering its floors and finding books or pokemon to occupy his time, and quickly he especially found a love of the many birds within the residence, befriending them and caribg diligently for them. It wasn't uncommon, in fact, to find two or three with him or upon his shoulders, especially the younger first evolutions, pidgey and starly, taillow and pidove, trained and comfortable enough to his presence to perch on his shoulders or come to his hands. Even from a young age, like many other boys, he had a love of pokemon, and the brids were his closest companions for that. In school, when such a thing came into his life, Judas did well, if perhaps a bit reserved and shy, much more hesitant to start friendships and go to extra-curricular activities then others, but with hard work and a quick mind. In fact, Judas loved school. Not necessarily the place itself, the schools he went to were good but nothing remarkable and had their fair share of.... Bad memories, but he loved to learn, he loved to examine things, to understand them. Science and music especially were his strongest suits, he drifted swiftly to the strings and the studies of examining the ways of the world hit right in his interests, but when time came to decide a career he found he wanted more, then being a scientist, to be a doctor. To learn how to help people and pokémon, how to heal them and keep them well. The loss, perhaps, of several of his birds over his childhood had influenced this, he realized that death was a natural part of life, but it didn't stop him from feeling that perhaos there was.... More that he could do to keep those close to him, to keep everyone, alive. Healthy. Happy. No one deserved pain. Training to be a doctor took time, and much work, but Judas had, among other things, the aptitude and the determination to achieve his goal. In part it was his passion, in part perhaps a feeling of obligation and a fear of failing, of dissapointing for falling from such a studious and respectable path. So he was a tireless medical student, studying human health in his main time and filling the rest of his time with pokémon until he gained working knowledge at least of both. In time he eventually gained the degree he sought, becoming a paramedic and helping those who were out in the field and could not make it to or had to recieve help getting to a hospital. In his spare time he volunteered at Pokémon centers and fostered injured pokémon until they were well enough to be released or found a proper companion. Busy as he always kept himself, Judas has loved his work, though even he at times realizes too many sleepless nights and too much time spent constantly at work leaves one well in need of a break and a new perspective...
