Henry Pipkin

25, gay, coordinator

Henry is my socially inept bug enthusiast with resting bitch face. On the surface he can come off as holier than thou or even completely disinterested in the conversation. But he could really use some friends as he explores this new region! While he doesn't tend to make deep friendships easily, preferring to create tenuous, short-lasting connections, if you prove yourself to him through consistently not being a total dick, you will likely win him over. Or, if you are giant bug type dork you're already in. However, Henry is not into verbally expressing his emotions, which could create some interesting situations with a loud, especially boisterous person who is met with "I got you a coffee the way you said you like it and this is my only display of affection".

In order to become enemies with Henry you either have to dis bug types really hard or otherwise be a giant jerk to him. Which, considering he reads as a condescending asshole at times, its easy for another character to respond to his presence with a little bit of vitriol. Playful enemies/rivals are also totally on the table, but don't be surprised if obtuse boy Henry takes everything at face value.

Its not a plot page if we don't spend a spell talking about romance. When it comes to romance plots, Henry is definitely open to something that would slow burn into something serious. While he is not above a one night stand, Henry tends to be more defensive, rarely allowing himself to be vulnerable enough to fall in love with someone. However, he does catch feelings, and when he loves he loves deep. Like with friendships however, this sort of love is rarely expressed with words but rather through what he perceives as visible shows of affection. But of course, things could get messy with this so if you want to have a low-key heartbreaking plot with a romantic partner misreading this as Henry not caring at all, I'm here. :'D Also, his fc is viktor nikiforov from yuri on ice, so if you don't have character who fits this and want to make a fc yuri boy I wouldn't complain.


Sana Fukuyu

17, bisexual, researcher

Sana is a super weird, neutral evil character. On the surface she reads as a weird, eccentric genius type, which isn't too far off. Sana's main goals right now are to collect knowledge through whatever means necessary, and to do that she is willing to do just about anything. Nothing is off limits to her, even mistreating her own pokemon. She can be a handful.

Friends might be difficult with Sana. She doesn't make social connections very well and often doesn't see the point. To become her friend she would first have to respect you as an equal, someone on par with her own intelligence and drive. Then, she would have to see you as useful enough to keep around. In many ways she is looking for a colleague more than a friend. That being said, if you want a plot where the pair go into business with her, even if goals are different I'm totally okay with that.

Enemies are a given with Sana. Although she is generally very good about hiding her true intentions and playing up her awkward kid demeanor, there will perhaps be times when her actions have consequences. Ranger types would probably have a field day trying to control her, and she would probably think they are just stupid.

Romance is a tricky one. Sana doesn't particularly like having any deep connections with others, but I could see a crush becoming something semi-obsessive. Bottom line, if you want to have a romance plot with her, expect it to be pretty toxic lmao
