RECKLESS Raised by rangers and from the city of Fortree, Silas is truly an adventurer at heart. He loves the outdoors and everything about them- camping, hiking, napping in a tree, you name it. His brave-yet-reckless streak means he's got no concern for his personal safety, and would probably benefit from someone being there to stop him from hurting himself while doing something stupid (or perhaps someone to get him into even more antics?).
Overall, Silas is easygoing and willing to chat with whomever, so long as they put the effort in. He's also quite fun-loving and likes to have a good time, but expect anything romance-related to fly completely over his head.
As a researcher, Silas' focus is on the bonds that form between people and pokemon. He's not much of a battler and prefers to befriend pokemon than catch them in the conventional sense.

INDEPENDENT Though young, Fane has high aspirations for herself and is working towards being a pokemon rehabilitator. To that end, she started her adventure as a breeder, and has recently become a ranger for the Inset region.
Passionate and talkative, Fane seems quick to open up to others, at least on topics she enjoys. She's also the type to go out of her way to help pokemon and people alike, regardless of the situation- anything you need, any time of day, she's just a text away.
On the other hand, she's not the type to seek help from others nor talk about her more negative emotions or anything that happens to be bothering her. Though her self-esteem has improved over the past year, she still struggles with her anxiety and frustration at herself. She's more likely to be at odds with herself than anyone else, and will try her best to avoid making enemies if possible.

LOYAL Blunt, exhausted, and perpetually done with everyone's shit, Akane may be quite prickly when you first meet her (especially if you catch her in a bad mood). She doesn't sugarcoat things, and her sympathy is not easily won. If you can withstand her thorny exterior, it becomes clear that she cares a lot, she's just built walls around herself.
It takes a lot of effort for Akane to consider someone a friend, but the effort can be well worth it as she is a loyal companion. She has a soft spot for those who openly stick up for the less fortunate, and admires exceptionally kind people; these are often the quickest way to get her to open up (though not the only way). As a trainer, a friendly rival (or two, or three...) could give her some purpose as well.
Conversely, her enemies will find it extremely difficult to get themselves out of this category. Akane has an iron will and can hold a grudge for as long as she pleases, so a move against her can be costly in the long run.

hi i'm here to give u back the first place spot i stole when i made kal's plotter oops lmao
and also to plot, since i said i'd bug you about that on discord. ur free to ignore this if u aint feelin it these are just my first impressions for ideas
SILAS AURE - ok just from a dynamic perspective it sounds like they're both funhavers, although av probably has a bit less outward chill than sil does when something exciting is going on. if you want someone to enable any stupid antics, look no further
FANE EVANS - like i mentioned on discord earlier, they both grew up in the same place and are around the same age, so if you were looking for past connections (tm) we could probably swing something like that. they're also both generally pretty talkative people, so they might get along. or av will plunge her into her own private hell by being obnoxious, whichever.
AKANE HARA - BOY HOWDY HAVE I GOT A POTENTIAL ANNOYANCE FOR YOU
... although that's all i got right now. i'm not sure how long akane would be willing to put up with Loud Obnoxious Idiot but i'm assuming not for a particularly extensive period, so i'm not as sure about this one

Silas & Av - Silas can keep his cool, but he’s also the type to be like ‘see that cliff? I’m gonna backflip off of it’. Hope Av’s camera crew has a medic on standby lol. A thread where we throw them together and just see what happens would be fun!
Fane & Av - Past connections would be pretty cool! Fane was stressed like 24/7 in school so maybe Kaleo was someone who could make her forget about homework/studying and convince her to actually have some fun for once in her life. Her private hell is her anxiety when it acts up so having literally anyone there to distract her would be a blessing. Plus maybe she can teach him a thing or two about pokemon care along the way, if he’s interested!
Akane & Av - This would be pretty fun! Av’s a trainer too, right? I don’t know how determined he is to be The Very Best™ but if they had a battle or two here or there they could be semi-rivals? Akane’s pretty aimless right now and doesn’t have much of a reason to train her pokemon (she mostly picked trainer cause it’s what her siblings did), but I can see her going all see if I lose to that punk kid and gaining some motivation
Tbh he’d probably grow on her eventually, especially if he treats his pokemon well? but she’d only be able to tolerate him in short bursts rip

Silas & Av - i'm sorry but my immediate visual here was av attempting to learn ASL (or whatever the standard is in inset) in order to enable silas. or, at the very least, tell him that landing a backflip off a cliff would be bad ass. the absolute madman
i'm not sure if there's a medical professional on site but av is kind of an idiot and probably wouldn't think of that ahead of time. at least there's someone that can call 911 probably

Fane & Av - LAUGHS well most of his skipping school past 11 is job related, so if she wouldn't mind hanging out at the hano grand resort, he could probably sneak her onto the parts of the beach where tourists don't go and show her how to sweet talk the chefs into giving you leftovers from brunch. he is good at distractions, if nothing else. he would be super interested in her rehabilitation work or anything that came preemptive to it, tho
Akane & Av - oh that'd be fun actually. if she needs motivation in the form of The Damn Punk Kid attempting to roast her, he probably would take a few shots at her if she didn't seem to be taking things seriously - he gets like lowkey a lil shounen protagonist-y about pokemon and probably doesn't just support his own side, but he roots for his opponent's pokemon as well lmao. don't just halfass it when they're out there takin' the hits and givin' their all for you, yo!
otherwise yeah i mostly just see this panning out as like. the character dynamic equivalent of a large dog jumping on you enthusiastically to greet you when you every time you come through the door even though you're tired and have told him dozens of times not to do that. if that makes any sense lmao

Silas & Av - Having someone to sign with would be great for Silas, even just a little bit! (I've been describing asl cause that's what I know but I've been vague when referring to it lol) But yesssss enabling! I can toss up a thread if you like, unless you'd rather wait for the two of them to get their starters first and/or have a thread in mind- either way is fine with me!
Fane & Av - Fane wouldn't have minded that at all! She probably had a ton of fun- though she'd probably get so nervous she'd fail so hard at the sweet talking thing lmao. But we should totally have them run into each other! Fane's had her pokemon for about a year now so she can definitely show him a thing or two!
Akane & Av - LOL that's perfect imagery right there, I can see Akane getting all heated up about that. They run into each other a few times and half the time she's like "oh god please don't let him see me I can't deal right now" and the other half it's like "YOU. REMATCH. NOW". Her depression might make things worse from time to time but she'd have a little more fire in her, even if that fire is like 80% Spite, 10% Punk Kid is Weirdly Inspiring, and 10% ?????
