FELT IT IN MY FIST, IN MY FEET, IN THE HOLLOWS OF MY EYELIDS
CASEY FLETCHER Casey is a bit of an enigmatic man. Cold, formal, and exceptionally private, he is keen to avoid talking about himself and often dodges personal questions with questions of his own. He is intelligent and has an eye for tactic and strategy, and values his time in the field researching and observing pokemon. Despite his cold exterior however, Case is quite emotional and does enjoy spending time with others. As he warms up, he becomes quite playful, with a cheshire-like grin and affectionate teasing. He is intensely loyal to those he calls friends. Case rarely considers others true enemies, but knows when others don't like him- and since he can't please everyone, why not have a little fun along the way? Biting sarcasm and a note of condescension are his weapons of choice in this scenario. | FANE EVANS Though young, Fane has high aspirations for herself and wants to be a professional pokemon rehabilitator when she's older. For now though, she's content to be a breeder, gaining vital experience on caring for pokemon to further her goal. Passionate and talkative, Fane seems quick to open up to others, at least on topics she enjoys. She's also the type to go out of her way to help pokemon and people alike, regardless of the situation- anything you need, any time of day, she's just a text away. Conversely, she's not the type to seek help from others, nor talk about her more negative emotions or anything that happens to be bothering her. Her lack of self-esteem is part of what drives her to always do better, but also fuels her anxiety and frustration with herself. She's more likely to be at odds with herself than anyone else, and will try her best to avoid making enemies if possible. |
AKANE HARA Blunt, exhausted, and perpetually done with everyone's bullshit, Akane can be quite prickly when you first meet her (especially if you catch her in a bad mood). She doesn't sugarcoat things, and her sympathy is not easily won. If you can withstand her thorny exterior, it becomes clear that she cares a lot, she's just built walls around herself. It takes a lot of effort for Akane to consider someone a friend, but the effort can be well worth it as she is a loyal companion. She has a soft spot for those who openly stick up for the less fortunate, and admires exceptionally kind people; these are often the quickest way to get her to open up (though not the only way). As a trainer, a friendly rival (or two, or three...) could give her some purpose as well. Conversely, her enemies will find it extremely difficult to get themselves out of this category.
