[attr="class","rostercat2"]The one thing that people notice about you is how resilient you seem. You’re rather headstrong despite the odds, despite what’s going on in your life, and that makes you a pretty independent person capable of handling yourself. You try really hard to be your own person, not liking to rely on others just because you might be sick. It makes you feel weak, like you can’t take care of yourself, and you dislike nothing more than feeling that way even if it might be true sometimes. Sometimes this train of thought can send you into fits, because no matter how hard you try you can’t always be happy, but you try. You try really hard. You’re really very amiable towards others, are described as a very sweet and friendly person who’s always willing to make a friend. People seem to enjoy your presence, because you aren’t the type to start a fight. You are very passive as an individual, despite how temperamental you can be. While the frustration can often get to you and make you a little difficult to deal with on your worse days, the solemn and fearful days that come crashing down on you don’t even last long. The only really bad part about you is that admittedly, you are a bit of a crybaby and can burst into tears at the drop of a hat. You aren’t as clean as you’d like, a bit on the messy side as well, though with practice that can be changed, even if you are a bit on the lazy side. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]PERSONALITY | [attr="class","rostercat2"]You weren’t originally born in Lavaridge, though you lived there most of your life. Lilycove was where you were born and bred, with stars in your eyes and sunshine in your hair. Bright and cheery as a child you had the world at your disposal, even if you were tiny and sickly. With a wicked cough and a pale pallor to your skin you’d often toddle straight to the contest hall, to watch the trainers just starting out and the masters in their element. It was fascinating to you, watching people and pokemon alike work their thing and dressing up so elegantly to perform amazing feats. You wanted to be that from an early age. To feel that rush. Things didn’t go exactly as planned. You fell ill, which wasn’t exactly a surprise as you weren’t the healthiest of children, but this was….different. You ended up in the hospital with a sun rash and a spiked temperature and breathing issues, something new and different wrong with you. The doctors rushed around and did test upon test on your small, frail body to figure out what was wrong. You had an autoimmune disease that was fighting you. You were dying. The doctors gave you a few years to live, and at six this wasn’t enough for you. Especially not for your parents who became obsessed with your health. Quickly they packed you up and moved you to Lavaridge where they heard of the health benefits of the hot springs and herbal remedies, and though at first you hated being so far away from Lilycove, you couldn’t find it in your heart to be miserable for very long. The sands were warm, the hot springs were nice, and though the herbal remedies tasted awful they sometimes helped with the swollen joints and the pain. Still, you wanted more. Craved a life outside of this constant concern. You fought the constraints of your diagnosis and survived past the time limit they gave you. Your parents cried and while the doctors were a bit baffled, you declared that they couldn’t keep you there for the rest of your life. A fight for your freedom ensued and even at twelve you knew you wanted to travel. They told you should you survive to eighteen you would be allowed to leave as legally they couldn’t stop you, and despite the fact that it wouldn’t be likely, you swore you’d leave. The teen years were rough on you. You fell very ill, bedridden for months at a time intermittently, and your parents thought for a good long while they would lose you. You persevered though through sheer will alone, and were slowly back on your shaking feet. It was something short of a miracle, and while you couldn’t really do some of the things you once loved like play the violin or piano because your fingers didn’t always like to work, you were alive and you were willing to overlook small things. Doctors came up with medicine upon remedies and your parents outsourced their money and resources to far away medics and gurus of all kinds, but nothing seemed to work. Finally they seemed to give up and focused instead on pain relievers as opposed to anything that would cure you, and you were satisfied with that. Finally though, eighteen rolled around and the stars returned to your eyes, brighter than ever. It was time to leave. [attr="class","rostercatsub2"]HISTORY |
