[attr="class","rostercat2"]Born in the Village of Dragons, Shikyo from birth was always a child who seemed a tad too energetic for her age. Despite her crying, Shikyo often used her body to kick and punch air rapidly, something that was noticed about her from birth. Shikyo often moved her little body around as a baby, even when feeding from her mother. Most children that had been ran across were content and comfortable, but Shikyo often moved around as if she was missing something and from a baby on up to the age of five she was always on the move. This resulted in her father having had his pokemon to help go and look for her where she would often be found in the forests skipping around.
 
It seemed that all things suggested and done could not quell the energy she had in her body, that was until she saw her first pokemon battle. Her father and the Village Elder one day decided to give an exhibition match for Shikyo's sixth birthday, for the most part, she had been trying to escape back into the forests that were until the battle started, sure she had seen pokemon every day but she had never laid eyes on them engaging in battle. She was instantly mesmerized by what she had seen, not a peep had come from her lips, nor a movement from her body as she watched these two beautiful pokemon do battle. Dragon pokemon were known to be some of the most beautiful Pokemon in all the regions, and for good reason. She watched in awe as the pokemon sent the elements to one another and used them to their advantage.

When the battle was all said and done Shikyo was baffled and intrigued -so much so that the first thing she said to her mother was "I want to learn how to be like Daddy!" she said with a loud voice and arms high in the air. It wasn't long before Shikyo's father began to teach her about pokemon, and the many things that could be done with pokemon. How they should be seen as both friend and family, and that loyalty with one's pokemon is a precious, irreplaceable thing. With this knowledge, she received her first pokemon, an axew with which she had named Tank. Instantly, she fell in love with him and they did everything, from exploring the area to playing with butterflies and even battles with her fellow childhood friend.<p>
Eventually, she would grow into a young lady, and with nothing but the stars set in her eyes she had set out on her pokemon adventure. Along the way she had met many friends within the region, challenged every gym that she had run across until she had eventually challenged pokemon champion, but first, she had to take on the elite four. With each trial, it seemed to get harder and harder until she had finally reached the champion himself. For a spell she had put up a good fight, that was until the champion had taken the victory. She wasn't disappointed, and eventually, she would return home for a time, that was until a Salamence had appeared and began to terrorize the city, causing panic to the village. Shikyo along with tank had taken on the beast, along with other village members, but in the end, it ended up costing them more than they thought. Shikyo having eventually lost Tank to this tragic event.<p>
Disgusted she decided that it was best for her to leave, but not before she had received a letter from the Pokemon Champion about being recruited into the ranks of the Elite Four as someone who is widely known as an amazing Dragon-Type Trainer. However, this would require her to move to the Inset Region, she did not question it, it was an escape for her. Without hesitation, and with her things packed she made her way for the region, and her work would begin immediately, as for years those who would challenge her would fail to meet up to her ferocity that her pokemon would put out. To her, this was finally reaching her dreams, the start to a better life all in the remembrance of the first pokemon who made her see something more than what was around her.
