The Mudsdale clomped to a sudden stop, rattling the cart loaded down with all manner of supplies and items for sale. The teeth of the woman who had hitched a ride in the back rattled as well at the unexpected halting motion that threw her hurtling backward into the stack of cabbages she'd been trying her best not to fall asleep on for the last three hours of her ride. The farmer who had passed her walking along the route had been kind enough to give her a lift to her final destination, taking pity on her smudged face and apparently aching feet. He had listened as she told him several times how bone-tired she was and all about how she had ended up "plumb on the other side" of the region of Inset.
Apparently the little bumpkin had a penchant for hitch-hiking everything from cruise liners to most recently carts pulled by strangers and their Pokemon. And the former had taken her to the opposite end of where she needed to go to get her start as a trainer - or was it coordinator? No, breeder! It was definitely breeder! Cause she kept rattling off egg statistics and pondering on whether he had ever considered studding his Mudsdale out, commenting on the perfection of its haunches. Thankfully the last thirty minutes she'd finally given up on conversation and allowed him to actually forget she was even there - to the point that it slipped his mind to let her know they had arrived and she should bail out now. The crash of her long limbs into his goods brought his mind back to the reality of the rest of his cargo and, sheepishly, he looked over his shoulder and said Welcome to Cassiopeia.
Mila, the woman who definitely smelled like the back-end of the very Pokemon who had hauled them all this distance, took the hint and slid off the back end of the wagon, dusting off the seat of her denim overalls as best as she could. An attempt was made at straightening her hair. And just as suddenly as the Mudsdale had stopped, he took off again at a powerful prance down the main street of the town towards their usual stall to sell his master's wares. She watched for a little while, feeling suddenly overwhelmed at the fact that after several days' travel and spending what little money she'd brought with her, at last she had arrived at the real start of her journey. The first person to pass by, a researcher with a Mankee clinging to his shoulders, was who she grabbed ahold of to ask where in the heck to find the lab to get her one of them crazy lookin thangs! He shook her off, appalled at her lack of propriety and the physical state of her appearance, before jerking his thumb over his shoulder down the street.
"Thank'ye!" she called back to him, already making her way with her sore feet towards the building he'd indicated. Blissfully unaware at how out of line her first foray into communicating with this town's residents had gone. She threw the door to the lab open and half-limped up to the desk, trying to fix her hair again but really there was just no saving the straw-like blonde pieces that stuck out whatever way it wanted. She leaned on the desk...counter...thing, and hollered out, "Howdy! I'm here for a Pokemon if you'uns've got any back 'err!"

--- Utter chaos. That is what poor Mila was walking into. The fire alarm was going off, blaring high pitching warnings to duck and cover while white lights flashed to draw attention. Aside from that was screeching, cat hissing and dog whining as a very angry little Litten was chasing a Rockruff who had gotten too close. Claws clicked and scraped as the two ran laps around the lab, just shy of crashing into the poor farmer girl before skittering elsewhere and knocking papers off a desk as they passed. Said desk was smoldering to the point that smoke still rose into the air. A soppy gray mess of ashes was dripping into the floor to form a very disgusting puddle. In the middle of this chaos was Delilah, sitting like the picture of serenity as she sipped a cup of tea. Not a hair out of place, lipstick unsmudged, and lab coat pristine. When Mila entered, Delilah merely gave a soft little smile and placed her tea down before leaning over in her seat. On the next pass of the Rockruff and Litten, she grabbed the fire type by the scruff. Litten yowled in surprise as he was sat onto the desk, dazed and tail lashing. He growled and acted like he was going to scratch the lab aide- but a single raised eyebrow from the woman had him shivering and turning to glare in anger at the newcomer. The Rockruff vanished, tail between its, into another part of the lab. Delilah tapped on the keyboard at her side and the alarms all shut down. Delilah smiled at Mila again and slowly placed a clipboard and a pen on the desk next to the Litten, who snarled at the piece of plastic like it offended him but otherwise stayed put. "Welcome to the Cassiopeia Lab. It's nice to meet you. I'm Delilah Graves, and this is Litten. I'm honored to guide you through the steps to start your journey today." Delilah gave another friendly nod. "Litten here will be one of your choices, since he so graciously volunteered-" < But Del! I don't- > Litten cut her off, voice raised as high in alarm as his hackles were. "-and I will gather you two more pokeballs for choices in a moment." Delilah forged on, talking over whatever protests the sulking pokemon had waited to raise. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Apparently her senses had been considerably dulled because she didn't exactly see the scene unfolding in front of her until she'd strolled in and made her own presence known. Going by the hellstorm of flames and yelps and yowls she could just about guess that her grand entrance and sloppy appearance weren't exactly top priority. She could have walked in without a stitch on and it would have been second fiddle to this mess! So a little dirt on her chin was no big deal. Most people would have turned and walked right back out but honestly? She was relieved!
She couldn't help the little bubble of laughter that turned into an outright guffaw when the black and red hellion was yanked mid-terrorizing chase and the poor pound poochy sought sanctuary elsewhere. That little shit would be a handful and a half but she had to admit, his cross-hatch marking was perfectly symmetrical! She shook her head, trying to get out of breeding mindset. That could come later. There was no point getting a physically handsome specimen if she couldn't train him to help her gather others for the cause. And a starter was supposed to be your companion. He was looking at her right now like he wanted to turn her into ashy sludge just like the desk between them.
She picked her way, hopefully gracefully but probably not by a long shot, on across the expanse of the topsy-turvy lobby to pick up the profered clipboard by the woman who was almost creepily serene despite the chaos. Well, creepily to anyone with the sense to know something was off when they saw it. Mila was just glad she'd met someone in this town who didn't sneer at her on sight! "Thank ya kindly! I'm Mila Holub, just got in from uhhhh..." she hesitated, wanting a fresh start here, "the road...he shore is a cute little boy. Aintcha?"
She thought about scratching him under the chin but for once in her life took the time and thought better of it and went to looking at the forms she'd been given to fill out. It was nice that they had this sort of thing. Not just anyone could get the Pokemon. There were probably nefarious folks out there who would use them for who knows what. She took note to have similar paperwork when she was established as a breeder. She was determined to breed only the best most selective Pokemon. No Pokemills for her! No siree!
The desk chair falling from the ceiling finally was the straw that caused her to break her cheery country girl demeanor. There are just some things you don't see coming. Whereas the Professor didn't budge, she couldn't help but to flinch and duck, her big blue eyes darting up in panic to see if there was one of those puffy apes she'd seen on the street ready to fling poo next! She couldn't see anything though and honestly that just made it that more freaky deaky!!
"So little feller there volunteered himself you say - does that happen a lot? Just pickin up the random Pokemon and callin it a day? Or will them other two be picked with somethin else in mind?" she couldn't help but to be curious about the process. It was a big decision to be narrowed down to three choices in a matter of minutes with no other thought from the professor or assistant or whatever this lady was coming in to play.

--- < I'm not cute! > Litten huffed, puffing up at Mila some. His nose was scrunched up as he shot a nasty look to the woman. The coloring and patterns around his mouth looked very much like an upside-down 'v'. Del came back with three balls in hand, sitting two of them next to Litten. She also poked his forehead as she did, making the kitten pokemon lay his ears back. "It depends. Sometimes it's based on what we have on hand at the time, it can be hard to keep stock of certain pokemon since they're living creatures. We do try to match up pokemon to trainers when we can, but it can be hard to do." Raising her fingers to her lips, Delilah gave a loud and sharp whistle. There was shuffling from one of the back doors followed by a black nose before the Rockruff from earlier poked her head out. < I-is he gone? > Her blue eyes were large and fearful as she looked around the room. A small gasp left her when she spotted Litten, who raised up and arched like a cheap Halloween decoration. Spit flew from his lips as he hissed, tail lashing in warning. Rockruff flinched back like she was about to run, but Delilah tapped Litten again and raised her brow, this time at Rockruff. The puppy pokemon whined but walked into the room anyway, defeated. "You seem like the enterprising type just from looking at you, Mila; I hope you don't mind me saying. Litten here is an excellent choice. He might be hard to handle, but he is also very brave. He took on Rockruff over there, after all, and she has type advantage over him, not to mention size or other things like that. "Rockruff is also a good choice. She's more gentle and easygoing, but she's very curious and loves to learn new things. And this one..." Delilah tapped the last pokeball in her hand, releasing the pokemon inside. A Buneary shook himself off, giving a big stretch as he did so. < Aaaaaah, good to be out of that ball! So, toots, you found me a lucky babe, yet? >"... This fellow can be kind of crass, but he's a very dedicated pokemon who won't let you down. Feel free to ask them any questions and spend time with them. There isn't any rush and this is a big decision. Please, take your time." Delilah gave a final nod and stepped back. All three of the pokemon turned their eyes on Mila, waiting to see what she would do. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Mila chuckled at the stroppy kitty, knowing now for sure that the chin scratch would have set him that much more over the edge. She'd actually never seen his type before, between growing up in a different region entirely and even then being restricted to life on her grandpa's farm....she began to wonder how much studying she would have to do on the unfamiliar other Pokemon. How many could there possibly be in the world, anyway? Probably not that many. Maybe the other two would be ones she was more familiar with.
"I reckon that makes sense. Now he's a fire type, right? I do like fire types. We raised all sorts of tepigs and torchics back home. So I know how to keep it at a controlled burn if I gotta." she said, looking pointedly at the Litten who sat among the ruins of the desk he'd caused to smolder. If she ended up taking him she wanted him to know from the get-go that she wouldn't stand for that kind of acting out. Even if she had to pack around a spritzing bottle to break him of that, it'd be nipped right in the bud.
The sharp whistle caused her attention to break from the fiery feline and to shift and land at the door beyond the desk where the still shaking pup had re-entered. Well, sort of. She still hung back and got another fright at the Litten's hiss and show off. Mila had to refrain from giving him a good whack herself but the lab worker seemed to have it under control. Something told her this Pokemon had been in the lab for awhile if the aide knew its "off button" - and it was no surprise if that was the case.
She was sure the average trainer, probably some ten year old bright eyed baby, would have been overwhelmed at the thought of taking that mess on. The little dog was cute, even if it looked like it had some sort of disease with giant stone warts around its collar region - but it was still pretty hesitant even as it came on into the room.
The comment about being enterprising, well she took that as a right compliment. It sure sounded positive to her! To have the Litten's showing out be described as brave made her take a second look at it. If she could get him under control and manage those outburts he could definitely be handy with gaining more Pokemon. Then again, she'd just traveled through the route that led to Cassiopeia and it was rife with water types. She had a feeling she would be making a lot of trips back and forth from the town until she lucked out and got the odd grass type. Then again, if she managed to make it through the first route without trying to catch anything or staying out of the grass she could get to the route beyond that and get some of the grass kiddos.
There was definitely a lot to think about as far as strategy here. But most importantly, even with all options considered, she would need to really think more long term. This was to be her companion Pokemon - one didn't just retire their starter. There was a special bond there that she couldn't deny she longed to form at last. This would be her first Pokemon that wasn't partially or fully owned by her grandfather. Even raising them from hatching, she was sure it wouldn't be the same as this first thing.
Rockruff's big blue eyes were drawing her in and she just wanted to pluck her up and walk out the door. But she had to remind herself not to let strategy go completely out the window even as she took the emotional side into account too. Delilah told her the pup was curious and she had to admit she was too. She'd always had a love for learning and was more or less self-taught with most subjects beyond husbandry and accounting which she'd learned from her grandpa. Suddenly the third and last Pokemon burst forth from one of the pokeballs Delilah had packed out and her face scrunched into a ridiculously stereotypical girly "aw!" face at the fluffy bunny. She was three for three on Pokemon she'd never seen before in her life - and three for three on fucking cute as shit little babies!
Then the little shit spoke with a surprisingly gruff wise-guy voice, sounding like some sort of old-timey mobster. An explosive chortle was the only reaction she could manage, blown away by the 180 she'd just gone through. The aide stepped back and encouraged her to take her time, "Yeah I think it's definitely gonna take me a sec to figure this one out." she grabbed a nearby stool and pulled it over closer to the counter. The Rockruff was still in the floor and she presumptiously bent at the waist and scooped the little girl up, "Hope this is alright, sugar, I just wanna be able to see all of ya up here and have a chat."
She plopped her as far away from the Litten as she could with the Buneary between them. "Now I don't know a daggone thang about any of y'uns as far as type and moves and evolutions and all that. Hey Delly, ya got one o them Poke...uhh deck? Dex? I just wanna know what I'm getting into here. Unless ya'll know what'ch'll grow up to be - if anythang...do ya even evolve? What sorta treats do ya like ta eat? What sorta trainer do you wanna go with? Ain't no point in choosin ya if ya wouldn't choose me. Sorry, I'm talkin a mile-a-minute hyer and ain't givin ye a chance to say nothin!" she sputtered to a stop, hopping up onto the stool and swinging her long legs as she waited for their reactions to her word vomit.

--- Delilah opened up one of the drawers of the desk when Mila asked for a pokedex. There was a little rummaging around before she pulled out a plastic sack and offered it to the other woman. "These are your complimentory starting items. Normally we give these after the Starter is chosen, but it has your pokedex in it among other things." A handful of pokeballs, a potion or two, a map, and a tm case were amongth the other goodies found inside. With that done, Delilah stood back again patiently to wait for the choice; she didn't want to interfere. Rockruff whined lightly again when she was picked up; she was used to it enough here at the lab, but she didn't want to be so close to Litten. She let out a visable breath of relief when Buneary was plopped down between them. At least that was one less thing to worry about... for the moment. It was exciting that she might be chosen to be a Starter. It was her first time at being put before a trainer like this so she wanted to put her best paw forward where she could. < I'm a Rock type. A-and... um... I evolve into... one thing? But there are two kinds? S-sorry.... I don't know... > Discouraged, Rockruff let her ears droop and hesitated before anwering anything else the woman had asked. < I like... when Mirae gives us these soft and chewy treats. They're sweet but kind of spicy, too, a-and I like them a lot. And, u-um, I like... I want a trainer who can help me be stronger... not, uh, physically? But, in my head? I wanna be confident. > For a moment Rockruff's tail had given a hint of a wag and her eyes had sparkled before she became embarrassed and tucked her head down. Taking this as his chance, Buneary took control of the conversation. < Pretty girl like you? You gotta have a good Normal type like me. I'm premium, grade A Buneary right here, so I'll be a hot Lopunny when I evolve, sweetie. > Buneary put his hands on his hips and winked at Mila. < You're the perfect little sugar drop for me, hot stuff. I'll go with you any day of the week. Too pretty a picture to pass up. > Which didn't reveal much all things considered, but Buneary liked to keep his real thoughts to himself. There was more to him than what he was showing off, but it would be impossible to even scratch the surface with one Lab visit. Mila would likely have to take a bit of a leap of faith if she picked him. Litten was the last to answer. He sulked in silence, pointedly looking away from everyone. It seemed he was going to refuse to answer all together before Delilah stepped forward and poked him again. With that, he huffed and stood long enough to he could turn and put his back to Mila before curling up with his legs folded under him, tail lashing. < None of that matters. No one ever wants me anyway, so just take the stupid dog or the dumb bunny and go away. > Litten sounded sullen and resigned; maybe even a little hurt. He kept a brave face as he glared at the desk but there was a hint of something like defeat in how hiis lip would occasionally wobble. MADE BY VEL OF GS

"Oh, thank'ye kindly! Let's see here." she pulled the Pokedex out and fiddled with it for a bit while she listened to the spiels put forth by her three choices. By the time the Litten had finished she finally figured out how to work the contraption and pointed the lens at Rockruff who had spoken first. The little she-pup was awful shy but she definitely had something in her that was just waiting to prove itself. Like a side of her that just needed to be unlocked. Mila was sure with the right trainer and circumstances that could come out - whatever it may be.
The evolutionary chart shown by the screen told her there were two ways the Rockruff could evolve, and they were honestly like night and day by looking at the pictures. She wasn't sure if she wanted to take a chance on getting the midnight form. It looked terrifying and didn't seem to be the kind of thing anyone would want to breed and make more of. Like something out of a nightmare. Evolutions were so strange, she couldn't imagine the darling little baby turning into the red monster on the screen. Maybe either way she could help it be more confident. Mila had that in spades about some things.
The Buneary was still preening, still throwing her off with its masculine voice and crass vocabulary coming from such a sweet looking face. And he was right about one thing, according to what was now on the screen: the Lopunny he would someday evolve into was a looker...as far as Pokemon go anyway. But she really didn't think she could take him seriously. The one main upside she could see with choosing him would be the guarantee that she'd never have to convince him to breed. He seemed rearing to go! Still....he had too much bluster for her to think he wasn't compensating for something. Mila could remember how the Tepigs who strutted the most grew up to be Emboars with the littlest tusks - almost nonexistent, really. And then none of the females ever wanted them by that point. Natural selection could be cruel that way.
And then, surprise of surprises, the tiny Litten could go on to be a buff tiger Pokemon! What she was seeing onscreen was the last thing she expected to grow out of the hellion on the counter. Especially seeing how his mood had soured more and more as they carried on their other conversations. When he spoke at last she couldn't help the way her heart broke just a bit. So her assumption had been right - he'd been passed over one too many times. It was easy to become jaded after a lifetime of rejection. She knew that fact all to well. But did she really want that baggage? Sob story or no, she didn't need that much more of a challenge. She was already probably in well over her head at this point.
"And I can't take 'em all, right?" she said at last, looking over their heads at Delilah. The slow shake of the head and knowing smile was the only answer she received and she went back to her internal debate. "Well let me tell y'all a smidge about me then to see if you can help me decide. Maybe you won't wanna go with me if you're looking for a life of glamour in Beauty Contests or kill it in the Gym circuits. I aim to be a breeder in life! It's all I've ever known. I grew up takin care of farmy types - like I said before, torchics, tepigs, miltanks, you name it. If you can picture it eating hay or corn I've seen it, bred it, and raised its young from an egg!"
She paused to look at each of them in turn, "Now I ain't ever seen none of you before, never even heard of y'uns. But I know I wanna know more! About you, about all the Pokemon in this region. Hell, beyond it! I love to learn all I can because I figure the more I know the more I understand - the better I can be at sum'n. So that means breedin is my ultimate goal but along the way I've gotta explore, I've gotta battle - I've gotta learn to battle as far as that goes. So I can't promise to be the best trainer. But I can promise to treat ya good and fair, and if I can help it I won't ever push ya to exhaustion. I'll punch a Makuhita square in the jaw myself if it means getting out of a battle. We'll always carry good snacks and plenty of potions and other thangs to keep ya comfortable."
She'd carried on long enough. Time to wrap this up. "So if you wanna be a companion, and see this big ol' wild region, and grow up big and strong to make little you's one day - I shore hope I can offer that to ya. If not, I understand and maybe the next feller in here can give ya what ya need!" She'd addressed all three of them, not wanting to remotely put any of them in a position that they wouldn't want to be in - going with her and being miserable. If they all three accepted, she'd have a tougher decision to make but at least she would know going forward that whoever she took, they would be just as happy with her as she would be with them.

--- As Mila spoke, all three of the pokemon listened closely. Even Litten, who let his guard down long enough to let his eyes widen and be taken in by her words. Buneary was the first to react, clapping his hands together. Fire burned in his eyes. < Toots, you know you can count me in! A life of any dame I want on a cushy farm? That's the dream. > So, Buneary was in. Really, that did seem like a good life to lead. He didn't consider himself much of a battler and he wasn't suited for the contest stage, so helping out around a farm and raising eggs... well, he was a Buneary. They were famous for how quick they could make a bunch of little cotton tails. While he had never been a father, he had helped hatch his own little brothers and sisters before finding his way to the lab here. He could do that. Rockruff spoke up next, tail wagging as she considered the possibilities. < I-I would like that... > She wasn't as sure about the whole breeding part, she really only wanted to settle down with one nice guy in the future and she felt she was kind of young for kids. However, the idea of being something of a herding dog was very appealing. Running around, helping keep other pokemon in line and keep those babies that Mila did raise safe.... oh, how nice that would be! She would need to be more confident before she would feel comfortable doing something with so much responsibility but it was a really nice dream to have. Litten was the last, and to be honest he didn't really speak. He had listened as the others had, eyes wide and vulnerable with a kind of excitement as Mila spoke. As soon as Buneary had broken the spell his face had closed off again, having him turn around and face away from the woman. He folded smaller and smaller into himself as the other two pokemon spoke, his ears laying back as he did. His eyes were kind of watery as he jumped off the desk, going to curl up under it and out of sight of the other two pokemon and Mila. Delilah glanced down at the pokemon and gave a concerned look at the Litten from where she could see him behind the desk. However, she glanced back up at Mila and gave a sad smile before answering for him.. "I think Litten would like to go, too." MADE BY VEL OF GS

Mila felt inspired by the way she was able to hold the three starters captive as she spoke. It made her feel just a little less silly about her long-winded speech. Most people she'd ever interacted with - and even then those were few and far between - would have been rolling their eyes or looking on in confusion as they tried to decipher what she was saying through all the diphthongs bubbling out. But these three held on to her every word and really took what she was saying into consideration. Her heart somehow simultaneously swelled and broke as one by one they all in their own way said they would want to go - or had their actions interpreted as such by Delilah.
Buneary's reaction had her rolling, same as the first time she'd heard him speak, but she could tell through the bluster that he was being sincere about that being just the sort of life he would want. And although she had assumed as such, knowing that would probably be the easiest sell, something seemed off about it. He was probably a fine bunny and with a little growing up would make anyone else a delightful partner in crime. She could just see him with a wise-cracking young guy taking the region by storm and wooing all the ladies together. Not to mention, either way, she didn't think his feelings would be hurt if she turned him down.
So it was a little easier to settle on a no for him than, say, the Litten who she couldn't even see at this point since he'd run off to sulk under the desk. At first she thought she had offended him and almost wanted to reassure him he wouldn't just be a stud in a box but after Delilah's face broke from its serene mask to show a bit of sorrow she knew it had to be something else entirely. Very likely something unrelated to her and deep down. Something personal. Something she knew she was unequipped to take on, no matter how much she liked to fix things. This would require a trainer with more patience and time. Maybe someone a little longer in the tooth who could give him a stable home. She would have that down the line, but for now she would be traveling a lot and needed a reliable companion. One that was eager without being brazen.
Her eyes drifted on over to the pup whose curly-Q tail had given a wag or two, whose shoulders hunched in fright less and less as she seemed to relax and open up. While she wasn't as gung-ho as Buneary had been, she also was much less closed off than she'd been when she first came in the room. And Arceus knows the poor dear didn't need to be subjected to anymore ill-placed fits from Litten. Though she didn't hear Rockruff's internal thoughts on the matter, the pup's unspoken dream would have fit that much more perfectly with what Mila needed at the moment. Even if, once she was older, breeding wasn't in the cards for her - Mila could use that faithful companion in man's best friend to run the farm she hoped to have one day.
"This is pretty dang hard, even at random - and I don't think it was, I honestly think it was Fate that made me show up just when I did - well, I reckon three perfect starters is what I just had to choose from today. I'd be right happy to take any one of ya with me. Heck, I'd take all three if Miss Delly would let me. But I cain't. So I've gone through everythang in my noggin." she gave a quick gentle rap of the knuckles against her temple, "Buneary you're gonna make some little bunny a lucky lady one day. And Litten yer handsome as could be and I know one day the right trainer is gonna come along and give you what you need. You'd be just as miserable with me as ya'd be here, trust me. But now, Rockruff...." she turned back to the pooch, grinning and by Gloom she was tearing up!
"I'd shore appreciate it if you came with me today as my starter!" she held out a hand, offering it palm up for a paw to shake on it.

--- When the excitement and tension of Mila's choice broke, Delilah was quick to call the two unlucky pokemon back into their balls. She tucked them in her pocket for safe keeping for now while also dropping Rockruff's pokeball onto the table within Mila's reach. Rockruff gasped, eyes wide and tail thumping from side to side with the force of her wagging. She hopped to her feet, pawing at the desk but unable to get down on her own, but she was more focused on Mila at the moment than that little nuisance. < R-really? You mean it? > She really hadn't expected to be chosen, mostly from her own lack of self-confidence. "Congratulations Rockruff. I hope you and Mila are happy together." Delilah gave one last ruffle of the puppy pokemon's fur before looking up to address Mila herself. "I already gave you your starting items, so you're more than free to go now. If you want my advice, I would stick around town for a bit before going onto Route One. There are pokemon here to battle if you look hard enough and it's closer to the center that way." Of course, it was up to Mila if she did that at all. Some fledgling trainers had gone onto Route One first and been fine- it was all a matter of preference. "If you ever have any questions or need any help, our Lab is always open, Mila. Please visit us again sometime. We love to see how the pokemon we send off do." female - 05 - rockruff keen eye tackle - leer - sand attack An awkward and timid little girl, Rockruff really does her best even if it doesn't always go the way she hopes. She's a pokemon who loves to poke her nose into all sorts of new and interesting things in order to learn but it usually ends up with her in some sort of trouble when she does. She's also shy and lacks any real self-confidence in herself; she's the type to take criticism to heart and brush off praise as flukes. She works hard to the point of pushing herself, so Mila will need to keep an eye on her partner if she wants her to stay healthy. She's also the type to hide an injury in the fear it will make her seem weak or useless, which is one of her biggest fears. Someday Rockruff wants to be as strong as confident as she thinks everyone around her is, but she'll need help getting there. When she has free time, Rockruff enjoys watching the clouds or stargazing as she finds it peaceful and relaxing. you also receive: x5 pokeball x2 potion inset map pokedex tm case MADE BY VEL OF GS
